Walker, in particular, is a true force of nature as she embodies Alice’s distress...Walker wears her heart on her sleeve, openly expressing the betrayal and hurt Alice feels. She’s just as fun to watch when Alice explodes in anger, gets drunk (which happens a lot), or breaks down during confrontations.

Nicola Walker, who reprises her role as companion Liv Chenka from the Eighth Doctor Adventures series, said: "I like these stories when it gets very odd, with plants growing and killing us!
