I think for me x/reader just annoys me because lmao I wouldn't act like that? It's impossible for it to truly be reader or y/n, you're better off making them an OC and calling it a day.

I hate self insert, but I found a phenomenal fic one time that was Peter/reader so I downloaded it and in word did search and replace for y/n with a random name and pretty much made my own OC.

Still one of my favorite fics but yeah I don’t actually have a desire to self insert in stories.

OMG Facebook showed me this idiots post today where he was shitting on AO3’s decision to freeze her eggs and he essentially said that.

He was like women are so worried about careers they’re not realizing they’re missing out on the joy of motherhood and if they followed their bodies natural design (ie having babies in their early twenties) they wouldn’t think they were missing out because they’d be fulfilled at home 🤮

I’m anti gun but in that moment I thought about buying one.

I really wish men without a uterus would shut the fuck up about women’s reproductive healthcare. Every time I scroll Facebook or threads there’s some uneducated man, or worse woman, trying to shove their views down the throat of the general public.

Nothing has made me more pro life than being a mom. Shits not for the weak and no one should ever be forced into carrying, sustaining, or birthing a pregnancy.

I cannot imagine if I had been forced to carry my first pregnancy to term (as a teenager) and how different my life would have been. It would have sucked and my life would have been derailed.

Also fuck the birth rate. If you wanted more people having kids you’d advocate for policies that make it easier for families to thrive in this country. But you want to gut every single social safety net program and continuously fight against affordable healthcare, better education and childcare funding, parental leave, and free school lunch programs.
