"Just a little more," Wally muttered to himself, carefully adding liquid nightshade to a boiling cauldron. Three drops was the difference between life and death in this potion. "There," he said, tilting his hand upward to stop the flow. "Now, where did I put the powdered dragon claw?" he said, casting around for the measured ingredient. The dungeons were quiet on an afternoon as sunny as this one. None of the other students were crazy enough to work on potions homework today.

It seems as though the new year has absorbed most of the student bodyâŚ
Seriously, where did everyone go? Even the Gryffindor common room is empty. It's like everyone's pranking us.
OOC: Anyone There?
Breakfast For The Swiftest \\ [Thadd and Wally]
"The fact that we are related in some way does not means you have to call me in a particular way, just call me Thadd, It is already too much you are doing just to listen to me" he laughed a little and looked at the red head with a grin "It is morbid, is it not? Is just something he used to say, not even I understand whyâŚ" he finished eating and said "The last time I went to the Hospital wing the nurse was half an hour searching for an "appropiate" spell because of my condition, she said something about clones being susceptible to medical magic and got me waiting half an hour and I just needed he to use Episkey since I had broken nose" Thadd looked at a pocket watch he took out oh his robes and said, "it was good talking to you but I have to go, have something to do, thanks for the talk, farewell" he stood up and ran towards the exit,he seemed kind of anxious but also strangely happy
Wally frowned as his offer of family was turned down, but he couldn't help but be slightly relieved. If he had started calling Thadd 'cousin', Bart would have been hurt. Still, the offer had been genuine, and there was an edge of disappointment in Wally's voice as he spoke. "Alright, if you say so." He frowned again. Too much? Why was listening to him too much? "Nah, don't sweat it," he said, forcing his expression to brighten. "Well, you don't have to deal with him anymore. Cheer up! I know people seem kinda tense, but pretty soon they'll chill out."
He listened to the hospital wing story with a grimace on his face. "That's rough," he muttered. "But I wasn't talking about the hospital wing. I meant one of the teachers-" Before he could finish speaking, Thadd was up and on his feet. The Slytherin quickly excused himself, leaving Wallace confused. "Okay, bye then," he said. Was Thadd okay? The Seeker sighed, shaking his head slowly. Why were things so complicated?
Breakfast For The Swiftest \\ [Thadd and Wally]
"I do not believe is a good idea, but thanks for that⌠I apreciate it" Thadd took another bite, then look out to the window and said almost without thinking. "Do you believe in destiny? Do you believe is possible to overcome it?" He gulped down and drank some water before kept going "Its just something he used to say⌠No matter how much you try to seal off your memories, You cannot escape your sins, they shine clearly in the mirror" he looked down for a minute and then said almost like, he was talking to himself "Sometimes I wonder if, I do not remember because I was under the power of my him⌠Or because I do not want to, I have so many questions, like these weird halluciantions, about a tall woman with brown hair, the world in chaos, evil wizards and some sort of war⌠is like a weird movie" Thadd just shruged and kept eating wondering what all those things meant and why he was he was there on the first place⌠could be that there si something important he needs to do in that castle?
"Well then what do I call you?" Wally asked, his voice suddenly stern. "Because you're related to us whether Barry likes it or not." Thadd might not have realized it, but Wally was doing something exceedingly out of character. Barry was his hero, no, practically his father. Barry and Iris had cared for their nephew when the pressure had been too great. Wally wanted nothing more than to make Barry proud of him. But instead, what was he doing? Calling Barry wrong.
"Destiny?" Wally paused. "Well, that's morbid. Do you really want to know what I think? I believe in destiny, but I also believe destiny is what you choose. I was destined to do well in potions - but only because I decided to do well in potions. I was destined to be on the Quidditch team - because I decided I was going to be." He waited again. "You may not be able to change what you've done wrong," he said, his voice slow as if he was contemplating something. "But you can decide what you do from now on."
He watched in concern as Thadd described the visions and gaps in his memory. "Have you spoken to any of the teachers about this?" He knew what Thadd's answer was going to be, but he felt obligated to ask. "If you're having hallucinations, you should probably say something. It might be residual dark magic messing with your head."
Breakfast For The Swiftest \\ [Thadd and Wally]
He looked at the boy with a half smile and said âYou are so easy to read, like an open book, you have doubts of me⌠well so I do⌠I am a weapon, a mere medium to reach his goal⌠I agree with your Uncle actually, I do not remember a thing of that night⌠except maybe⌠your uncle when he thought I was BartâŚâ he looked up to the sealing for a minute and then smiled âI believe I was on a dinner, with your aunt too⌠before the pets of my father struck, then its all dark and fuzzyâ he took a bite from his food and continued âCan I tell you a secret⌠Just do not tell anybody, not even your cousin⌠â he stopped for one secon and continued âI was the one who freed your cousin from my creatorâ he took a sip of water and continued âThat night, when I came back to what was my home, there he was, trembling and possibly under a stupify spell, I realesed him from the incatation and lured your uncle to find him. To this day I do not know why⌠possibly just to piss off my creator but that made me felt like I was in control for the first timeâŚâ he smirked and said âI will fight, I am not going to be anyones puppetâ he took another sip from his goblet, then he held it tightly with a smirk on his face
Wally's shoulders tensed as Thadd accused him of doubting. Yes, he had doubts, but he had pushed past them. The Gryffindor opened his mouth to say so when Thaddeus continued. "My uncle never told me about that day," Wally admitted. "Ever since Bart showed up, he's been distant. Especially towards me. That's all you remember? Bits and pieces?" Noticing Thadd had loosened up to start eating, Wally began picking at his food again.
"Yeah, if you want to," he said, trying to ignore the weight that had settled in his gut. "I won't tell Bart." He listened, absolutely shocked. "You...You were able to break free and saved my cousin?" Could Thadd be lying? No, he wouldn't have anything to gain by lying to Wallace. He might benefit from lying to Uncle Barry or Bart, but not Wally. That indicated that he was telling the truth. "I believe you, Thadd. I believe you'll fight, and I believe you'll win." He grinned. "Thanks for saving Bart. I know you don't like him, but he's a part of my family and I appreciate it." He paused. "And you're a part of the family too, even if Barry won't acknowledge it. We're still related somehow." His face shifted to an expression of deep determination. "I'm going to fix this. This family is broken, but I'm going to fix it." He again looked at Thadd. "Is it okay if I call you my cousin too?"

candy with strangers || bette & wally
With a small smile, she took the box full of licorice wands. âWell, as long as you donât mindâŚâ Bette couldnât help but be a little happy to have gotten the candy that sheâd wanted. There wasnât many candy types that she enjoyed, but she had a soft spot for licorice. Plus, it wasnât everyday that Bette had a conversation with a cute boy.
"Yeah, itâs really nice to actually meet you too." The blonde awkwardly played with the hems of her sweater sleeves. What was his tone of voice? Was he flirtingâŚ? "Iâm a chaser, have been since the about halfway through second year. And, well, not many people remember me anyways." She said, a little halfheartedly.
It was kind of nice, Bette thought, to actually have a conversation with someone that wasnât about class studies. And it was even nicer that it wasnât Baran Flinders threatening her. She actually felt like a normal witch, something that never seemed to happen.
"Of course not,"Â he smiled, turning to take a box of Sugar Quills. He scanned the shelf for a moment, wondering if he had forgotten anything. If he didn't stock up, he'd run out of snacks by next Hogsmeade weekend. He took one more box, just to be safe, and then turned his attention back to Bette. "Chaser? I play Chaser too!" he beamed, but then suddenly remembered. "Or, at least, I used to." Wally couldn't help the downcast expression that crossed his face. Playing Chaser had been a huge part of his life. It would be really difficult to adjust.
"Aww, that can't be true," Wally said, forcing his face to brighten. "The Quidditch pitch isn't exactly the best place to socialize. If we had spoken anywhere else, I never would have forgotten you." Classic Wally. He didn't mean to sound so dumb, but she was clearly insecure about the impression she made on people. Mentally berating himself, he grinned again. "What classes do you take? My group of Gryffindors share a couple with some Hufflepuffs. Maybe we're in the same ones."
Library | Wally and Artemis
Artemis rolled her eyes, Wally was so cocky most of the time, and it annoyed her a lot more than she led on. Her quill and eyes rested among the parchment paper and she copied notes from the first book as he spoke. âCongratulations, how bad did you fail?â She knew he wouldnât have failed, he was one of the best in the potions class, Artemis just hated when he gloated.Â
Looking at him from her book, she smirked a little bit. Training with a Slytherin kid huh? The blonde was the first in her family to be a Gryffindor, instead of a Slytherin herself, not that she cared what the ginger kid did, but it was her chance to mess with him. âTraining with another house.. better be kind Wallace, you wouldnât want Rocket to find out would we?â
"For your information," he said haughtily. "I aced it. Which is actually turning out to be a problem. If you prove yourself smart once, it's a surprise. You have to work twice as hard to prove yourself smart a second time. This potions project has to blow them out of the water." He was really only rubbing her face in his success because she was better than he was. Not at potions, but at just about everything else. His grades were probably an all-time low for Hogwarts. And she was a far better Chaser than he had ever been in his life. She wasn't as fast, but was far more accurate. She rarely missed a shot.
"The kid-" Wally found himself suddenly flustered. "Look, the kid had never played Quidditch before! That's virtually a crime!" He paused. "I'm sorry, Artemis," he begged. "Don't tell Rocket, she'll be so mad at me..." He paused again. He didn't want to make himself look weak, but he decided it would be best to come clean about the real reason he hadn't been practicing. "Actually, Crock," he bit his lip. "I'm not going to practice today because I don't play Chaser anymore. Rocket just changed the roster. I'm the new Seeker."
I'm Late, I'm Late [Bart & Wally]
Bart smiled and nodded, âIf you could, that would be great. My class is with the Slytherins and if Thad finds out I nearly killed myself on those steps, heâll never let me live it down.â Not that Bart cared much. But he had to look like he cared. He really hated doing this to Wally. He knew that the ginger was a little jealous of him, but thatâs why he had to be all the more sweet. He needed as few enemies as possible, especially if they were in his own family. Besides, he looked up to Wally. Even in the future, he looked to the stories he had heard of his cousin. In honesty, Bart wished they could be closer, but he didnât think that would happen without Bart revealing his secret. And that was out of the question.
"Not like I've got anywhere else to be," Wally said, putting on his trademark grin. He had learned that smiling masked everything, and put people at ease. Hopefully he was able to hide the slight envy he was feeling. When Bart mentioned Thadd, Wally bit the inside of his mouth to keep his expression from changing. The two boys hated each other; Wally didn't blame them for that. Still, Wally was the only one who knew them both. Thadd had decided to trust him, and Bart at least seemed to like him, and it made Wally very uncomfortable to be stuck in the middle. It was made worse by the fact that Bart was also his cousin, the grandson of the man who had acted as his true father. He wanted to side with Bart. They were family. But that was what made it harder. Bart had a family. Thadd had no one. "Let's go." He paused for a moment. "Hey, Bart, you play Seeker, right?" he asked tentatively.
I'm Late, I'm Late [Bart & Wally]
"Donât sell yourself short. Time travel is nothing," said Bart, chuckling, knowing heâd rather be brave like Wally than the liar he was. "Just have to have enough patienceâŚand enough pacing room." That was a lie. Bart had stood frozen in a room when he had time traveled for fear that his walking would attract dark wizards. But, honestly, if he was to do it now, heâd probably want to pace. Out of the corner of his eye, Bart watched his Gryffindor cousin look him over. He was curious as to what Wally was thinking, it was often hard to guess what was going on in the ginger wizardâs brain. Bart got himself settled and smiled broadly, "There we go!"
"All set?" he asked. "Hey, do you want me to go with you to class?" he asked, a sudden idea popping into his head. "I could always tell the professor that I was the one that held you up, that way you wouldn't get in trouble." Wally had tried to keep an eye out for the kid. It couldn't be easy to have to time travel away from all that was familiar. All the same, his Uncle Barry had been acting differently now that Bart was around, and it was impossible for Wally to keep jealousy completely at bay.
[Wally and Raquel]
Raquel pondered the gingerâs question as she slid into the seat next to him. Â âThere actually is a couple,â she said finally, turning to look at him. Â âFor starters, we have a new Beaterâ Conner Kent. Â Second, youâre not a Chaser anymore. Â Youâre going to be the new Seeker.â Â Their old seeker had graduated the year before, and with Wallyâs speed, she felt that he would be the best choice for the teamâs new one.
"Conner," Wally mused as Raquel sat down. "He'll be good. Nice choice." He found his eyes slipping back to the references he was holding, still wondering about what broom would be best for a speed-oriented Chaser like himself. Then, he heard her continue speaking. "Second, you're not a Chaser anymore." His heart stopped. And not in the way it did when there was a cute girl around. His heart stopped like he had just begun to die. Not a Chaser anymore? He was cut from the team? Panic raced through his brain. No, no! He couldn't have been cut! Who else would play Chaser? Was this because he had missed that goal last year because he ran into the ground? Just as that thought crossed his mind, Raquel continued. "You're going to be the new Seeker."
Another surge of thoughts and emotions pulsed inside his head. No, he wasn't kicked off the team! His heart started to beat again, but then he realized what exactly she meant and it stopped again immediately. He was going to be Seeker. Like, he was actually going to have to look for the Snitch. And play practically by himself. And have the entire game be up to him. No. No. No no no no no. His jaw went slack. "...Me?! Seeker?!" His book dropped from his limp fingers, thudding against the floor.

candy with strangers || bette & wally
Bette knew right away who the other student was. Wally West, the seeker for Gryffindorâs quidditch team. They were both in the same year, and yet Bette had never really interacted with him. He was charismatic, funny, and a real people person, while the blonde tended to shy away from large groups. And now, he was talking with her. âOh⌠Are you sure? I donât mind purchasing something else if you really want it.â Bette replied, a small hint of color appearing across her cheeks.
"I know." She said, as the redhead said his name, before realizing how strange that might sound. "I mean, I play quidditch for Hufflepuff, so, I know your name from there." Wow Bette, way to seem like a stalker⌠She thought to herself. The hufflepuff couldnât help but be awkward, finding it strange that Wally West was seemingly flirting with her.
"Iâm Bette Kane." She said, pushing back a lock of golden hair and smiling lightly.
"Oh no," Wally shook his head. "I don't mind at all. In fact," he paused, scanning the store for a moment. "I think I'm going to get some more Sugar Quills instead. I can sneak those into class." He grinned cheekily. Teachers didn't like snacks during lessons, but Wally's enormous appetite had taught him to smuggle in food. He noted with satisfaction that she seemed to be blushing a little but then wondered if it was because the situation was awkward.
Oh! Qudditch! That's why she seemed familiar! Hufflepuff? He quickly ran through his head, trying desperately to remember what position the blonde played. He couldn't quite remember. Wally suddenly realized the context in which she had said all this. The girl had at least noticed him during Quidditch matches. Suddenly feeling more confident, he grinned again. "Nice to meet you, Bette. I can't believe we haven't spoken before." His voice took on the deliberately smooth tone it did when he spoke to a witch. "What position do you play for Hufflepuff? When I'm on the field, I'm in the zone and don't remember the other players very well."
Breakfast For The Swiftest \\ [Thadd and Wally]
Thadd sighed once more, he could not remember the last time he sighed so many times in one day, it was definetly hard to speak outloud what happened that day, but he had to⌠he wanted to tell someone else out of SlytherinâŚ
He told the story looking down to the floor, not being able to confront the person in front of him âSome years ago⌠When I was created⌠out of Bart⌠My creator he⌠well he replaced Bart with me⌠And he attempted something.. ah well , He order me to do things, to kill the Allen Family⌠We did not succeed of course, but I did⌠took the life of people that night⌠Friends of the Allen family⌠I do not remember much of that night⌠I am just telling you what the Ministry of Magic told to me the day of my trial, they declared me Not guilty because of the control my Creator had on me⌠Then they sentenced me, or as they said recommended me to hogwarts, Professor Wayne accepted, needless is to say that Professor Allen was or more like is not happy with the idea⌠cannot blame him thoughâŚâ he got quiet a couple of minutes awaiting something, a punch, a word anything but the Gryffindor did not spoke a word, did not even ate and Thad was sure that was a bad signâŚ
"Look I understand, it is bad even though I did not meant to kill, I know I am capable to⌠When I was created⌠the Spell⌠my Creator used on Bart to clone him, somehow bounced back to him, creating a mix between my creator and Bart⌠that is why I am not a carbon copy of Bart" he added and then got quiet awaiting for the Gryffindor to answer
Wally listened in shock. His eyes grew wide and round at the mention of the deaths of the Allen Family's friends. He remembered hearing something about friends of the family dying not too long ago, but he had never personally been affected. His jaw set to avoid any expressions crossing his face before he could sort through his mixed feelings. Thadd hadn't remembered any of it? He didn't even know what he had done first-hand? The seriousness of the situation weighed heavily on him. He now knew why Uncle Barry didn't want Thaddeus around. What was worse, Wally wasn't sure he could blame Uncle Barry.
A copy of both the Thawne man and Bart? Well, that explained the different houses, different hair, different personalities, but it only made the situation worse. Part highly intelligent, hyperactive boy, part deadly, insane, dark-magic wielding killer? Thadd could be exceedingly dangerous.
As all these thoughts rushed through Wally's head, however, he remembered the fear, the panic on Thadd's face the day prior. He was not evil. He was just a boy, just a boy with nowhere to turn. Wally's doubts were still there, but he had shoved them roughly aside. They would have to wait until they were proven more than speculation. "You don't even remember what you did." Wally's face was now carefully moving into an expression of confusion. "How is it your fault if you were, a, being controlled by a crazy guy, and b, you don't even remember it? The Ministry was right to send you here. You didn't ask for what happened to you."
