a very easy way to fix the spell of shattered sight would've been to say it ramps up over time until they all kill each other. make them actually worse gradually over the episode. this way it's like their very worst selves at worst barely drew a lick of blood. no deep psychological taunts. no murder whatsoever. otherwise you could've at least made a little slow horror movie :(

I just wish emma was acted a little better... this feels so mean to say but ouat is such a cheesy heavy-handed show that I feel like rlly needs the characters to feel 100% present & in their emotions and emma worked very well in s1 & to some extent 2-3 but there's just such a rote way she's acted sometimes... I still cringe my way thru that brilliant s5 scene w her & regina in nyc because regina's crying her heart out & emma to me is like. 😐🧍‍♂️ like it feels like it's supposed to be so heartfelt but she just seems annoyed. & tbf she has some STUPID scripts & increasingly storylines but it still feels a little sad
