Totally agree! Can’t say I was aware of her behind she moved to City either but I’m so happy that she’s getting all this recognition now!! In my opinion, she’s the best defender we have right now (unless you count AKB as a defender I suppose). And she seems like a really kind human being on top of that. She’s 29 now, so with a bit of luck, she will be able to play the home euros aswell! 🤞🏼
I should know by now that (some, not all!!) people on here can discuss the goalkeeper topic without becoming incredibly insulting. I can’t deal with that right now. Maybe I come back to the objective messages in a few days but so now, I’m done with the topic.

I have notice alot of grow from Linda over the year ..even before euros. I do wonder how much since she become strick on her diet and workout it's helping her out alot. It probably a big influence on the growth as a player . I think she only takes like 1 day off a week. Her work ethic is 👏
Dallmann was always a very tactical gifted player. Pretty much every Bundesliga player who got asked who is the best player in the league when it comes to the technical said Linda Dallmann. 😅
Ofc her routine can also help! But that’s a very individual thing. You’re not automatically a better athlete just bc you are incredibly strick. Everyone has diffrent needs.

Yeah, with regard to GERWNT backup goalkeepers I think it is noteworthy that the players avoid passing back to both Stina and Ena in the games they played even if it's the best option while they actively involve Anne to stretch the opponents and it's showing higher up the pitch. Ena and Stina have around or even less than 20 pass attempts in the games they played recently while Anne often has up to 50-60 passes which is a big difference. And yes this included her game against Slovenia as well so even against "weaker" teams. They have trained with both Ena and Stina for years now at this point as well and you see in the BTS videos they put out from training that they are not comfortable playing out and it's just something we have to accept when either play for the NT. They won't just learn this is in a few months. It's hurting the attack for sure but it is what it is. I don't think Germany has the attacking and more importantly transition quality to not use their goalkeeper to create overloads but it's better than forcing Ena or Stina into something they are not capable off and concede that way. Sophia Winkler might get back but she’s also not a great passer. I just think something is lacking in that regard in the german goalkeeper coaching right now.
The question is - do we find it in other countries? Or is goalkeeping in the women’s game still mostly based on individual talent? Ofc, if we hold up our current goalies to AKB or Hope Solo, they will fail. But most goalkeepers would rn I fear.
