some advice for lifters
hi !! im not a proffesional but im kinda exprienced and i see so many mistakes/caught stories these days so i just wanted to make a thread! also sorry for my english, its not my national language. if i have any mistakes just correct me <3
what should i wear? is it that important?
i think you all know the ‘teenaged shoplifter’ look right? dark clothing, a beanie, chains, and a skateboard, probably with their friends and has shifty eyes. if u dress like this the SA wİLL know what u are up to.
and then theres an another look, the ‘unexprienced newbie’ look. the baggy sweatshirt(i dont mean the expensive ones you know what i mean) nerveous, sweaty and SHİFTY eyes. avoids SA and touches their sweatshirt all the time. they will know you hide something in that sweatshirt.
so what should you wear? you can still wear dark clothing but in a chic way. you can still wear baggy outfits but you have to look confident. theres no best outfit for lifting, just wear neutral colors, a normal makeup and some jewelery. wear something that they wont even care about. that doesnt pops in the crowd. not be you, be every basic shopper girl that lives in your city.
btw if u are not a newbie you can just go with a jogger and a t-shirt. you can still be invisible if you know how to.
how to be invisible?
when you first head in the store, dont check for the damn cameras, look at the staff and kindly smile or just dont do anything. dont look nerveous, sweaty. dont act like youre high, be normal. youre just a shopper who is looking for the x product?
youre in the store, congrats!! theres options that might happen to you.
1) you might get an SA on your ass asking you what are you looking for. you can tell them ‘youre just browsing’ but thats a common lie so they’re bored of it. be creative, say something like ‘my friend and i’ll meet here, while waiting i’ll just hang here’ ‘we’re playing hide and seek can i stay here for like 10 mins?’ (yeah this is so childish they will leave your ass in like 00.01 mins) ‘do you have the x product? (something you know they dont have in stock or dont sell at all) etc.
2) the second option is ‘hi would you like to take a basket?’ you can answer this with, ‘nah, thanks. when i carry a basket i feel like i need to buy more. its not good for my wallet you know.’ ‘would you like to try this product which is similar to the product youre looking at?’ ‘oh sorry we dont have that product but here is a similar one!’ ok bROO FUCK OFF, these just make me so uncomfartable. you can answer these two with this ‘i have social anxiety so its so hard to talk to strangers, is it okay if we just dont talk?’ or just say ‘thanks, not needed.’
the third and last option is ‘theres no one on my ass but i think someone is watching me’ just get out of their zone and if you have a bad feeling, LEAVE THE FUCK OUT.
im in the store, i chose what do i want to lift, what do i do now?
theres soooo many concealing methods. you can find them on liftblr if u scroll a bit.
i usually conceal in my bag in a BLİNDSPOT. never ever conceal in front of camera, other customers!! and officialy the staff. when im lifting grocery i put my reusable bag at the basket and get what i want x2 in the basket and get one of them in my bag, leave one at the basket in a blindspot.
for lifting clothes you usually need a magnet or hook. the aliminium bags only work for the RFİD tags. you can also cut a hole in the clothing to get rid of the tag. be quiet in the changing room and DO NOT LEAVE THE FUCKİNG RFİD/TAG AT THE CHANGİNG ROOM İTS HOW DO PEOPLE GET CAUGHT.
some extra tips
i just went to lifting with my little brother, he sat on the stroller while i was using the stroller as a bag and a concealer.
dont wear sunglasses in the store. if they cant see your eyes they wont trust you.
know your times!!! this is very very important. i usually go to the stores in the morning (11-12 am) and when its not crowded. in the morning the SA work with the new packages that have just came or clean the mess from the last day or just be sleepy and dont give fuck about you.
if you beep just walk calmly. if they call you to come back say its your pacemaker or your wallet.
thats it from me babies, be safe <3
also i need advice on how to not to get caught to my MOM? she knows i’ve lifted once and now she looks at everything i bring home and asks where did i found the money for these?
y’all are sleeping on this!!!!! gr8 tips <3
attention!
calling all active lifters! if u see this post pls reblog! im trying to find more active people to talk to and swap stories and tips with because everyone i seem to be following seems to be deactivated.

I'm looking for lifters in the UK. Reblog so I can follow you and make friends??
^
The drop technique and my quick concealing method shown.
Drop technique notes: 1. Use a bag with a shoulder strap so you don’t have to think about where the handles are. You do not want to worry about getting your product tangled up in them. Another benefit of a shoulder strap bag is that there is no gap between the bag and your body (that the product could fall through). 2. Use a structured bag, so that if your product hits one of the sides (as my peanut butter & honey palette did!!), it falls inside anyway! Floppy purses are bad for this because your product can become unbalanced on the cloth if it hits the side, and end up on the floor. Cloth is just one more thing for the product to become tangled in. 3. See how the inside-tops of each side of my purse are angled slightly inward (toward the zipper)? These are your bumpers, babes. Like rails in Mario kart, these guide your product into the bag, so you don’t have to think about it at all. 4. I usually do something with my hand while doing this, as an excuse to move my arm and drop the product. Because I don’t touch my purse, it was clearly “just an accident” if I were to be caught. 5. Once this is done, immediately zip up your purse. Preferably do the concealment and zipping in a blindspot, or the closest thing to a blindspot as you can find. Also a great tip: walk into the store with your phone in a pocket. After dropping, place your phone into your purse and zip it up *without looking* at it.
Light speed conceal technique notes: 1. Hold the product in the hand on the opposite side of your body from your purse. Here, my purse is on my left and the product is in my right hand. I conceal it with my right hand. First, my left arm provides a little bit of cover. Second, it’s just a lot less obvious to me to have my right arm crossing in front of my body than it would be if I were bending my left arm to put the product in. I also like to use my left hand to hold my purse open if it’s a really big item (like I’m doing here; if it’s not a large item, I don’t do this). Third, it’s just a lot harder to do with the arm that’s next to the purse, IMO. Try both out, see what works best for you, and do so in front of a mirror. Practice, practice, practice. 2. Use only in what you are 200% sure is a blindspot. Also great for stores with no cams. 3. Use in clothing stores that count going into dressing rooms (conceal before you go in and detag in the dressing room). Again, be wary of cams. 4. Don’t do this with people around! Very advanced lifters probably are already using this technique to crowd conceal, but if you aren’t very advanced don’t do this anywhere near other people or only try it with *extreme* caution. Practice at home first!! For me, I often use my partner’s body to block others’ view of the side that my purse it on. Using a support beam, wall, or display on that side can also be helpful. I sometimes do it when I’m in a busy store and I’m 200% sure there is no one behind me and maybe one or two people in front of me, both facing away from me. The only reason I do it in these situations is because I’m also 200% sure I can conceal the item in less than 2 seconds (as shown here). If someone did turn to look at me after I’ve started to conceal, worst case scenario is that they see me with my hand in my purse. I’m pretty quick. 5. I often use this technique in makeup stores while holding 2 items. I only want to conceal one and the other is my decoy, which I hold on top of the thing I want. Then I cross my right arm over my body and pretend to look closer at something on a shelf (maybe reach out and grab something with my left hand and look at it), and only shove/drop one item in my purse. Then I’m still holding my decoy which I put somewhere random before leaving. It’s less sus in stores crowded with SAs. 6. Never ever EVER: do this in front of a camera, in front of another person, or on the floor in a store with very active and vigilant LP! Don’t do it! This method is CLEARLY intentional, unlike the drop technique. I have no cover or excuse for this if I get caught and neither do you. This is my favorite and most used technique, but it’s risky. Again, I only recommend this for the experienced and the entirely un-sus. I had a lot of experience before I ever tried concealing on the floor like this. Please be careful.
WONDERFUL techniques!! I’ll definitely use the drop method when in a mostly blindspot and the light speed conceal when im in a 100% blindspot. thank you so much for the video :) im a visual learner
you’re LITERALLY AMAZING!
This is awesome! You should totally do more short videos like this, I know many people learn in different ways and this is great for visual learners. ❤️
I’ve thought about it! I have a few other techniques that I honestly think would be really helpful for people to be able to see. I do worry because I know LP reads liftblr to catch on to different techniques, plus some of them are quite hard to show (given that the whole point is to make it hard to see what I’m doing!). Thank you! 🎀
THIS IS WHY it’s important to NOT ARGUE WITH ANTI’s and do NOT TAG and just do all the things you can to stay stealth on the internet so LP and ANTIs don’t know what we know.
Yes, EXACTLY! Please no one tag this post. For the love of god. I need to go through these notes and block all non-lifters, as well.
Idk what void I'm trying to fill by getting high and shoplifting
But it’s not workin lmao
Rebog this and I’ll follow you (lifters only)

Things that will make the lp watch you
Copied from a thread, not mine
Nervousness. Fidgety body movements and looking anxious. Constantly looking from side to side or looking around at other shoppers and employees. Facial expressions of worry, such as wide open eyes, raised eyebrows and crinkled foreheads and gaping mouth. This is usually seen immediately after concealment has already occurred and eye contact is made with the suspect. Releasing nervous tension through exercises such as stretching, cracking knuckles, rotating arms. Walking faster or slower then normal customers. Entering the store and proceeding directly to an area at a brisk pace while eyeballing customers. Walking around the store briskly through aisles while carrying merchandise, attempting to not be seen or followed by associates while concealing the merchandise Refusing assistance from store staff and obviously avoiding contact with others. Asking an associate for directions to an item or department, then proceeding in the opposite direction. Asking an associate unusual questions about merchandise. Removing security tags. Peeling off price stickers. Constantly looking at security cameras. Ducking down and out of employees’ or cameras’ view. Uninterested in shopping. Repeatedly picking up random items with no interest and putting them back. Selecting multiple merchandise at a high rate of speed and not checking prices or sizes. Wandering around store, handling items, lingering here and there, without doing any real shopping. Removing merchandise from one department and depositing it in another, then walking away; creating a depository of merchandise for a later theft. Removing hangers from clothes for no apparent reason. Double hanging clothes. Placing clothing inside of other clothing. Hiding merchandise behind other merchandise. Carrying large seemingly empty purses, bags, or back packs. Placing purse/bag opened in the child seat area of the shopping cart. Large or open purses and shopping bags carried on the arm or shoulder. Handling of bags, backpacks, at the same time glancing around. Carrying a shopping bag from a store that is not in the same shopping center. Carrying items around the store then going into out-of-the-way areas. Constantly walking into a hidden area (Blind Spot) from the view of security. Entering a store empty handed and staring at the Returns desk. Removing a crumpled receipt from their pocket, matching to items on shelf. Suddenly walks quickly to an exit without making a purchase. Opening a wallet and showing cash, in attempt to alleviate suspicion. Wears bulky, heavy clothing during warm weather or coats when unnecessary. Wearing baggy or oversized cloths, hoodies and backpacks. Wearing sunglasses in the store. Caring umbrellas or wearing fake casts. Pushing wheelchairs, and baby strollers. Enters a dressing room or rest rooms with merchandise and then exits with nothing. Repeatedly sends sales staff away by asking for other sizes or colors or distract you with constant chatter. Quickly enter change rooms with a large number of clothes, so staff are not able to check the number of items taken. Backing into a parking space. Leaving the trunk of the car cracked. Leaving another person in the car or at the front of the store. A group entering a store at the same time and then splitting up or come in the same car but enter the store at different times.
Aw shit, I do a lot of these lmao. Bless this post.

↳ Pull off a leaf!! This is called propagating. Who’s gonna stop you when it looks like you’re just checking to see how healthy the plant is? You twist the leaf off at the stem gently and just pop that lil babe in your pocket. Get a couple incase they don’t start to grow. Here is an article that goes into more detail on growing baby plants
Repost bc someone took my idea after I posted this and it blew up and mine didn’t so I’m bringing it BACK
who knows that you l1ft?
I was thinking about this earlier when I was showing my friend a haul. For me only one person knows, and I show her everything I lift because I trust her, so hopefully she never exposes me. One other person knows I have lifted a few things when I was shopping with them, small things like underwear and socks. Feel free to reply with your situation because I am curious to know if some people who are so open on liftblr, are irl as well.
a ton of my friends know i do but most of the people who know also shoplift. two of them who know disapprove but they’d never snitch me out
My best friend and boyfriend know :) they both also lift

For the record
People stealing food/ necessities because they need to survive in our shithole of a government: Zero judgment, I’m incredibly sorry you’re in this situation, do what you need to do to survive.
People stealing designer clothes, makeup, perfume and shit because you don’t want to pay for it and you “enjoy the rush”: Also zero judgement. Stay safe and proceed.
