POV: You're stressed as all hell because you haven't completed your case memos for your internship, you have 171 emails to answer, you slept through your spin class, groceries are dwindling and the number in your bank account is getting lower.

A lovely day at the office last Friday ✨️📎🗃🖋 I'm actually kind of hoping they call us back to work in person because these views are to die for, I can get a soda + vegan snax for less than $4, and I'm starting to get a little malaise working from home (after over 2 years of loving it lolol)

UGH I'm so resentful even though my coworkers are trying to do a good thing....I'm on the Green Committee (yet somehow the only vegan ¿?) and we had a speaker today talk to us about bird strikes and what we can do to save migrating birds from crashing into our windows. I am ALL FOR saving migrating birds, but it amazes me that the same people who are willing to go to such lengths of time and money to save the few downed birds that strike our building each year are willing to turn a blind eye to the 9 billion birds killed every year for meat in the U.S. (that's not even counting turkeys or egg-laying hens). Don't we arguably have even MORE responsibility towards the birds we bring into this world, than the ones in the wild?
