T'Mar's PADD beeped again. "I meet you there in approximately five minutes."  

T’Mar’s PADD beeped with a new message.“I’m pleased that you are doing well. I am exceptionally fine, thank you. Yes, I believe it would be nice, as humans put it to ‘hang out’ being that it has been quite sometime since we have done so. Would you like to meet in the mess hall or would you prefer a different location?” T’Mar sent her reply and leaned back in her chair.

"There should be." T’Mar said, scanning the room for a computer. After a minute of looking around, she finally spotted one in the corner of the large lobby. "There is one located over there." T’Mar pointed to the computer. They walked swiftly over to it and scanned their...

"Then we may explore somewhere else, if you wish." T'Mar stated calmly. "I, myself, am quite curious as to see what is here."

"I’d love to!" She strode forward immediately, hoping T’Mar would follow in turn. "I wonder what they actually research here…" She then giggled. "Probably should have looked into what they do here first."

T’Mar had to quicken her pace in order…

"There should be." T’Mar said, scanning the room for a computer. After a minute of looking around, she finally spotted one in the corner of the large lobby. "There is one located over there." T’Mar pointed to the computer. They walked swiftly over to it and scanned their IDs and read up on the purpose of the research facility. "It appears to be an Alien Disease Research facility." She said, turning to look at Taryn.

T’Mar took her eyes off the building to look at Tayrn. “You, too, are an admirable officer.” She said then turned her back to the large structure. “It appears to be one. Do you wish to explore it?” T’Mar asked, glancing back at Taryn.

"I’d love to!" She strode forward immediately, hoping T’Mar would follow in turn. "I wonder what they actually research here…" She then giggled. "Probably should have looked into what they do here first."

T'Mar had to quicken her pace in order to keep up with Taryn. "Well, we will find out soon enough." She replied as they entered the large research building. They entered through the sliding doors and entered into a large, very high-tech looking lobby. There were researchers milling about and T'Mar almost collided with one who was staring at their PADD and trying to walk at the same time. "Quite impressive." She said again. "Where do you wish explore first?"

"Yes, I will continue my duties aboard the Normandy. I have no desire to work on a Starbase unless I am required to do so." T’Mar said while admiring the structures and such around them. "This is quite impressive." She said, staring at a particularly large and dynamic...

Nodding, Taryn slid into the transporter room and quickly began pushing buttons and pulling leavers. “Yeah we’ll be fine.” She gestured for T’Mar to stand on the transporter pad, then jumped on herself and grinned at the feeling of her atoms…

"Yes, I believe so. I do not have to report to my station for another 6.2 hours." T’Mar replied as they walked into the transporter room.

Nodding, Taryn slid into the transporter room and quickly began pushing buttons and pulling leavers. “Yeah we’ll be fine.” She gestured for T’Mar to stand on the transporter pad, then jumped on herself and grinned at the feeling of her atoms being rearranged.

T'Mar felt her atoms begin to dissolve, then after a few seconds, reappear in the Starbase 3 transporter room. She stepped off the pad and waited for Taryn to do the same. They exited the transporter room and began to explore the vast starbase. "I'm aware that a few of our crew members are transferring to continue their duties here. Are you going to transfer?
