their July comeback was only a few weeks away and practice had become more focused on their Japanese comeback. and sarang was still on her mission to get more familiar with her members. after practice, she had asked around and somin was the lucky member that got to hang out with her. "honestly, i think these stalls are best at night." they had just grabbed a table, smoke and steam surrounding them but it was a comfort for sarang. something grounded, the place wasn't that busy, with just the right noise level. it wasn't loud enough that she had to shout at somin for the other to hear but it wasn't pin-drop quiet where she felt she had to be careful about every single word.
their orders were placed and now it was just the waiting game and while it was normal for a bottle of soju, she opted for a coke. "between the two, for our Japanese comebackโฆwhich of the two tracks do you like more?" a simple conversation starter. "i liked the little track right off the bat but dive has been a slow earworm, I've been listening to it more."

"oh for sure," somin agrees easily, considering that she's also pretty sure a lot of the stalls only opened once it started to get dark out. but she's not bothering to say anything about that, mostly just waiting for her order of ddeokbokki to come, as she sips on the broth of the fish cakes she had just taken a bite of.
she also opts for a cola instead of alcohol, not wanting to deal with that tomorrow morning when it inevitably hits that she had had alcohol the night before, especially not when they have practice again.
she blinks at the question, mid-chew and she lets out a hum to show that she had heard the question and needed to think about her answer for a moment. "i like both songs, honestly," she says after a moment, finishing off the skewer and shrugging a bit, even now still in thought about the question. "i usually like the song right away, or it takes a bit to grow on me," she explains, reaching out to take another fishcake skewer and blowing on it. "so i always end up liking the song even if i hadn't liked it originally, you know?"
