Just watched the special episode on You Tube. GOD, I missed those two men SOOOO MUCH! (Even though I’ve watched all their shorts, lives, and other videos on You Tube). I guess I’m mostly in love with their characters!

I don’t know whether the series is worth watching, but ….

GORGEOUS!!!!!

I stumbled on this new BL series, on You Tube:

Awakening the Steppe

And was STUNNED by the beauty of the actor, who plays Lei Zexin—Wang Ruichen.

Mainland Chinese BLs (produced elsewhere) are, seriously KICKING ASS!

They are taking the genre more seriously than the rest of the bunch! They are creating works of art that ANYONE could enjoy watching. The stories they are telling, via excellent writers, with fresh ideas, and seriousness—are truly a wonder to behold!

After being, totally, obsessed with To My Shore, and sadly awaiting that finale, I wondered whether they can make more, equally enthralling & captivating series.

Then, while watching BL EDITS on You Tube, showing January previews, there is another Chinese series coming in January, with more darkness and a red-flagged anti-hero lead!

I’m so excited to see if I can, once again, become just as obsessed over it, as I was over To My Shore.

MY OBSESSION:

I can’t believe the actor, who played the character, Fan Xiao, with all that torturous sociopathy, obsessive love, and internal suffering, is only 23 years old!!!!!

It had two great-looking MLs, two beautiful FLs, a wonderful grandmother, and a brother I’d like to (f*cking) punch in the face! 😊

It had great acting, it had humor, a heartfelt story, with both gay and lesbian couplings. Very sweet.
