Sometimes life will just straight up challenge you. It can be tough and frustrating and sometimes it just plain sucks. It makes you deal with issues you've been avoiding... Issues you didn't know existed... Issues you thought were even someone else's. Lol But we can't look at these challenges like obstacles that will bring us down... Or something that we can never overcome or handle. The "Giant" that you thought would defeat you can help you find your greatest strength! That's why David and Goliath is one of my favorite stories. Everyone looked at Goliath like this giant who couldn't be defeated. But David knew where his strength came from. He knew he wasn't on his own. He ALLOWED God to work through him and give him the strength that he needed through his great faith. It's amazing... Here is this boy who is literally defeating giants with his faith and yet when our lives don't go the way we want we are all quick to crumble and claim defeat. I want, for all of us, to have faith like David. FIGHT like David. Not fearing. Not worrying about the size of the giant... But knowing the size of our God. Now, I was going to end here but.... I need to say something that has been on my heart... We are all on our own journey. It takes time to learn and grow. But that's just it. Sometimes I think we get stuck on the learning part but forget to grow. We learn about right from wrong... We learn about loving others... And not judging others... We learn about the way we SHOULD be trying to live our lives and yet we remain the same... How? Is it fear of failure? Fear of success? Fear of missing out? Fear of the unknown? Fear of lack? I know it's easy to SAY something and "post" something that sounds inspiring or pretty... but actually following through takes patience and faith and hard work.
