"Ugly hat store, there has to be a specified ugly hat store. I wonder where they hide it. Knockturn, you think?" Honestly it seemed the perfect place for something so sinister and benign all at once. "If it's anything like my parents place, they've hidden the kitchen in some corner." She held out her hand for Lexi to take.

"Nah, a place like that is too despicable even for Knockturn Alley." Lexi joked. "This place is nothing like my parents place, my grandparents maybe, so I'll have to follow your lead." She replied, taking Anna's hand.

"Well, no but perhaps I should start. It would really add to the brand don't you think?" He wished he had his notebook on him, then he could write it down so he'd remember. "Ghostly, but if I remember he was quite rude when he was alive too. Attractive, very attractive, but rude. Still kind of attractive as a ghost, honestly. Didn't think that was possible. Anyways, whiskey. Shall we?"

"It would," Lexi agreed with a laugh. "But I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing." Maybe Gilderoy was right, a lavender wrap might have helped, but Lexi found that even this conversation was helping to calm her right down. "I mean, it makes sense. You look the same as you did when you died, right? And if you didn't die in some gruesome way, you'd look just as hot as a ghost as you did as a person, wouldn't you?" She asked. Lexi honestly hadn't given it too much thought up until now. "Yes. Whiskey. Let's go."

"It's a little sewn bag of uncooked rice and lavender, you can heat it up. Excellent for stress relief and wrinkle prevention." He said. Maybe he still didn't have a bedframe but he absolutely had several lavender bags. "Whiskey it is. I think I saw some in the smoking room, but there's a very rude man in there. It's not too bad if you just ignore him."

"And you just... carry these on your person at all times? Who are you Gilderoy Lockhart?" Lexi asked with a small chuckle. "Real or, y'know, ghostly?" She asked before a small wave of her hand. "Doesn't matter, not like it matters either way."

"An aura and almost always some sort of ridiculous hat." Her mother had always favored fascinators, and Anna every now and then had the compulsion to burn one. It sounded therapeutic. "There's definitely a kitchen, do you reckon there's a liquor cabinet somewhere as well? House like this, seems like there must be."

"Oh my god, right!" Lexi exclaimed. "It's always the ugliest hat known to man too. Like, where do buy them?" She asked before nodding enthusiastically. "That sounds like a perfectly logical conclusion. Let's go!"

"Do you need a lavender wrap or something?" Gilderoy asked, once more a little sad nothing had been transported here with him. After all he had several lavender wraps sitting right next to his bed. "I think you need some lavender. Or maybe whiskey."

"Not unless you want it-" Lexi began, before properly processing what Gilderoy had actually said. "Sorry, what exactly is a lavender wrap? What is it wrapping?" She asked, getting distracted from her initial freak-out. "Whiskey. I definitely need whiskey."

Anna considered this as she looked down at her drink before carefully pushing it away. "Is that who that was? Because she reminded me strongly of my mother. We should find an unopened bottle," She said, "Because I think we both need it."

"It certainly sounded like her." Lexi answered. "But then again, so many pureblooded women just have that aura about them, don't they? So I can't be 100% sure." She nodded. "Absolutely. An unopened bottle sounds like a brilliant idea."

"I said, I think our drinks must've been spiked." Lexi said, looking down at her glass. "Because I could've just sworn I saw my grandmother in the next room."

Percy glanced backwards from the window where she stood glaring, almost willing the damn thing to shatter with just the power of her mind. Her hand lifted, glass stuck into the side of it at odd angles and bleeding. "Pretty rough. I was not gentle on these windows."

"Fuckssake." Lexi winced. "I've dealt with some pretty nasty quidditch scrapes, but that is- I can't fix that." She looked around. "Do you think there is a first aid kit somewhere around here? Surely there must be some dittany or something?"
