Spending time in the woods was certainly not out of character for a wolf, so it was no surprise to Lexi that this vampire had sought to look for wolves in the woods. It wasn’t a huge leap. Though, Lexi didn’t particularly appreciate the intrusion -- she was in the woods for her comfort, for her entertainment, not so she could be pursued by some crazed vampire. That wasn’t what her woods was for, not as far as Lexi was concerned. In the cover of the trees and bushes, the werewolf snarled at the vampire who was, quite obviously, on her tail -- trailing her. Her glowing eyes fixed on the vampire, moving down to the jar in her hand and the snarl grew louder as she leaped out to tackle her to the ground. “Why are you following me, bloodsucker?” 

“That’s a way to get me to shut up.”

“-- It’s my specialty.”

“I do apologize that my duties to the pack got in the way of your fun. There’s not need to try, you and I both know that I’m great at making you forget about your boredom.”  

“Well, you are more entertaining when you’re not talking.”

“As did I. I’ll go to the opposite side, don’t worry.”

“That sounds perfect.”

“I’d say it can work both ways. Going for a run, but apparently I can’t do that in peace either.”

“I highly doubt that I misheard. You know with our hearing so great and all. Now if it’s because I took a long time I apologize for that. I’m here now though and I can certainly help with your boredom.”

She rolled her eyes. “Too long. You’re certainly welcome to try and entertain me.”

“We’re going in the same direction, it’s hardly stalking..”

“And as strange as the concept may seem, I came out here to be alone.”

“Would you quit following me?”

“I didnt mean to follow you. Just hunting and you kinda got in my way”

“The fact that I know you and that you used our code which means you wanted to meet me away from the pack.”

“Maybe you misheard and I just want to be alone. Or maybe you were taking too long and now I'm bored.”

“Would you quit following me?”

“I would if I knew that that was what you really wanted.”
