I was very nervous and I had a right to be it was your first day at collage but not just any college a college that makes this generation and every generation before and after into rich and successful people like my father and my grandfather and his father before hand and eventually me and my older brother Mitch, Mitch was already a high senior at the college I was about to attend his also a member of a frat named KNA I always wonder how he got so far because I love my brother but his a slob a lazy arrogant one dad and his wealth and name definitely was the soul reason of why Mitch has gotten as far as he did he doesn’t have looks he doesn’t look after himself I think his a cheeseburger or two away from having a heart attack he doesn’t have the people skills he doesn’t have it what it takes to become rich or successful and deep down I think he knows that it’s not our dad doesn’t remind him of that honestly I feel for Mitch the amount of pressure our dad puts on him it’s a lot and it’s quite awful to witness your own dad who’s suppose to love and support his children make them feel like nothing make them feel weak and not good enough

Me on the other hand I didn’t really have that problem or that kind of pressure not because I’m this perfect A star human being nope it’s because I’m a woman and woman ain’t suppose to be the leaders or the money providers of the family especially not in the Miller family but obviously my father wouldn’t allow me to work an ordinary job like a waitress or worse a stripper he wants me to be successful too just not as successful as Mitch also he wants me to find myself a suitable partner an upperclass rich clean cut man that will provide our family and keep a steady household and obviously give him grandchildren to carry on the legacy that meant I was on a different type of pressure the whole make sure I look after myself because a man doesn’t want a fat wife and make sure you know your place in this world and make sure I dress appropriately because a man doesn’t want a slut yet still dress to get “attention”

It was finally the night that I was going out with Harriet, Jill and the rest of the girls I headed home to take a shower have a little bit of makeup on did my hair and got dressed I put on my black short dress I haven’t worn it since I first met Darren I never really worn it since dating because the last night time I worn it we got into an argument he thought I was giving other men the wrong idea even when I suggested to putting an oversize jacket still he thought it was inappropriate looking back how I wished now I worn it I put on my heels gotten my purse and headed out I told the girls I would meet them there so it was quite shocked to find Jill outside my building “what are you doing here Jill?” I asked even though I probably know her reasons “well I thought you might bail the last second so I thought I’ll come just you know in case you need motivation to get out or maybe need someone to drag you out of your apartment” I just chuckled we clinged onto each other to keep each other warm it had gotten quite nippy I was relieved that I decided to put on a oversized jacket on whereas Jill who’s wearing a short pink shirt and a small white tank top was regretting her life choices “you sure you don’t want my jacket?” I asked half way walking to the club “oh no we always there anyways” Jill said “beside I don’t understand why you brought your jacket anyways you’ll be taking it off shortly and it might get stolen” she added

“Well I’m glad I did I’m freezing beside it’s an old cheap jacket so i wouldn’t be losing any sleep if it does get stolen” I laughed it was 25 minutes and we finally got to the club where we met Harriet and her friends Nicole and Cindy outside of the club Harriet waved to us as we approached “I’m so glad your here” Harriet said with pure excitement hugging me like she hasn’t seen me in years even when we only saw each other this morning “well it’s not like I had a choice” I smiled looking at Jill “you remember my friends Nicole and Cindy” “ah yes of course it’s really great to see you guys again” I smiled quite nervous because even thought they are Harriet’s friends I’m not really big fans of them Nicole seems snobby and so full of herself she so self involved and thinks every man wants her while Cindy seems like Nicole’s little lap dog I kinda feel sorry for her because she always seems to try to please Nicole like a dork trying to please the popular mean girl just so she can notice her and she can shit at the “cool kids” table “oh it’s great to see you too Y/N at least now Harriet can stop fussing over you worrying about you spending your nights alone” Nicole said while Cindy laughed god I wish I wasn’t so royal to Harriet because I would love to knock that bitches lights out we gotten into the club straight away the bouncer knowing that Joshua was expecting us let us cut the line which kinda was embarrassing we tried to avoid the annoying gaze of the people who have been waiting probably hours to get in the club

We got into the V.I.P lounge which was a nice little corner booth with purple leather seats and a very clean table with some crocus flowers I blushed while feeling one of the flowers crocus was my favourite flowers and the fact that Joshua remembered I smiled the memory of him going around town trying to find crocus flowers to gave to me when he was planning on asking me to go to prom “alright so what should we drink first I think shots?” Harriet asked everyone agreed and Harriet vanished and returned 2 minutes later with the shots “sorry the bartender had his hands full it seems busier than the other night” she explained we taken a shot and one by one we took turns bringing the drinks in i don’t know what happened maybe it’s because I’m used to drinking one alcohol drink which was wine and I’ve had mixed my drinks so I’m kinda already a light weight it was my turn to go and get the drinks and I couldn’t even walk straight everyone just watched kinda amused yet abit concerned I finally got to the bar trying to get the bartenders attention “it’s ok I’ve got this one”a man came out from the back into the bar a very handsome young man but I knew straight away who he was because even when Harriet says is true he has had a glow up he still looks like the shy dorky cutie to me “hi Joshua”’i smiled I don’t if it was the alcohol but i began to blush “Y/N it’s great to see wow you look amazing” Joshua greeted “thank you I mean look at you I didn’t believe it when Harriet told me that you had a glow up but wow” I laughed Joshua looked to the floor with embarrassment

“Yeah well I’ve been working out lately i just finally sorted out a bit of a messy divorce and working out really helped with the stress” Joshua explained “oh my god I’m so sorry what happened?” I asked “ah nothing special just two people who use to love each other just didn’t” Joshua smiled “ah I’m sorry but how did it become messy?” I asked I know I shouldn’t be asking these type of questions but the alcohol makes me nosy “ah well it’s actually about this place we are business partners even though I paid most of the profit she wants all of it she thinks she more entitled to it but luckily I convinced her to sell out her share I mean I had to give up everything else my car, my house the money that was in our shared bank account but it was always a dream of mine to open a bar so I’m hoping it’ll be worth it” Joshua explained trying to keep positive “wow what a bitch” Joshua laughed “so what can I get you?” “Well what would you recommend?” I asked “well I’m actually wanting some guinea pigs to try my new cranberry and lime vodka shots if your interested” I gave a satisfying drunk smile “oh they sound amazing I’ll have them how much?” I asked “oh it’s on me considering that they are not on the menu yet and your doing me a huge favour” Joshua began doing the tricks and stunts making the shots I just sat there amazed at his skills like a little kid watching a magic trick

After finishing the shots he handed me the small plate with the shots on “thank you they look delicious” I smiled I went to turn but returned to face Joshua “hey maybe we can catch up sometime maybe get a coffee and a bite to eat?” I asked Joshua smiled disappeared “ah look Y/N I’m not really looking for anything right now I’m still kinda getting over the divorce I’m sorry” Joshua explained “oh no nothing like that I get it I’m still getting over a breakup this is actually the first night out and truthfully I didn’t even want to be here my sister literally had to wait outside my building to make sure I actually don’t get out of it” I laughed Joshua chuckled “alright then if that’s the case I’ll love to have coffee to catch up” he smiled he taken a napkin from the counter and wrote his number on it and handed to me I placed it in my purse and went to go back to the booth I was trying to be slow as possible trying not to spill the girls were to busy talking to even notice I may be struggling i was nearly there until a man he busy on his phone nearly knocked me over “hey watch it!” I shouted luckily the music was aloud enough to not bring any attention “oh I’m so sorry” the man said I was about to give me a piece of my mind but when I saw him I couldn’t speak he was very attractive with his deep blue eyes and his brown hair he looked well tanned and toned and from his grip on him keeping me steady he feels strong “oh I’m sorry I’m kinda little tipsy” I giggled with nerves he looked up and down at me and smiled “yeah you seem pretty drunk but it’s my fault I was glued to my phone I should of watched where I was going” he said “hey why don’t I help you out with those to make up for nearly causing a scene?” He added he didn’t really give me time to answer he already took the plate off my hands “oh I’m Jordan by the way Jordan weaver” he took one hand away to shake my hand “oh I’m Y/N Y/N it’s really nice to meet you Jordan” I took his hand and we shuck a little too long

I led him to my table and he placed the drinks on the table making the girls stop their recent conversation they turned their attention towards Jordan and me they seemed quite confused “oh this Jordan we just me he helped me carry the drinks this is jill and my sister and this is Harriet by best friend and these are her friends Nicole and Cindy” I introduced “hi it’s nice to meet you I should be leaving now have a nice night” Jordan smiled and he was about to take off but I stopped him by placing a hand on his shoulder “why don’t you stay for a drink it’s the least I can do for helping me being my shining knight” yeah I’m definitely wasted “oh sure I’ll like that” Jordan smiled he sat in between Harriet and me hours had past and me and Jordan just talked to each other getting to know each other I totally forgot the girls were even there I told him about my business and told him about Darren and he told me that his a life coach and how he wanted to become an actor at one point he told me about his photography it gotten to the point that everyone was ready to go home we were all pretty wasted and we all headed outside the bar and got next available taxi that was sitting outside everyone climbed in but I felt a little sick “hey guys I’m actually thinking about walking home I need the air” I said “well I’ll come with you I don’t want you walking alone” Jill said “oh I can walk her home I don’t live very far” Jordan spoke up behind me Jill didn’t seem thrilled with the idea “I’ll be fine Jill I’ll call you tomorrow” I gave her a hug and she joined the others in the cab and drove off I started walking with Jordan “hey i know I’m suppose to walk you home but I actually live closer maybe if you want you want to hang out out my place I can show you some photos that I’ve taken over the years?” Jordan asked I was definitely drunk at this point because sober me wouldn’t of gone I mean going to a strange man you just met home I mean I’ve seen too much horror movies and serial killer documentaries to know that this is how it all starts

Summary-After a messy breakup with your ex you decided to hit the club for a hookup there you meet a handsome and charming guy named Jordan weaver who claims his a life coach with a whole lot of alcohol in your system you and Jordan hook up and when you thought it was just a one night Jordan seems to have other ideas

(Warning- Jordan is a walking warning, there will be sexual scenes in this story and yep it might be rubbish writing, stalking and I’ll be writing new characters for this story too also i wanting to add that kinda got the idea from both skincare and one of Lewis’s dad’s movies Mr Wrong it’s not really the same storyline but i gotten some ideas from both movies

“Do you think she ready to talk?” One officer asked his partner who was still continuing stirring his shit coffee “I don’t know she seems still shaken up” his partner said they continued walked into one of the interrogation rooms where a young woman shaken up with blood on her hands “ok miss Y/N I’m officer Warren and this is my parter officer Gates we want to go through some details about the events what had happened if your ready to talk?” Officer Gates asked I finally looked up at the officers still teary eyed still trying to process what actually happened I just nodded that seemed to give them the Signal to approach the table and sit down on the empty chairs across me “before we begin can we get you something water or something to eat?” Officer Gates asked “oh no no thank you I just want to get this over with” I said he just nodded with a smile before hitting the record button “it’s currently 10:30pm I’m here with officer officer William Warren and I’m here with Y/N Y/N now please tell us Miss Y/N what happened?” Officer Gates asked it took me a moment “well it’s quite hard to explain I really need to tell the full story for you to understand why I did what I did” I said “ok well then tell us the whole story” officer Warren said “ok” I take a small breath in then out because this is quite a long story and these officers probably wouldn’t even believe because this is like something from a movie

The story began a whole month ago a month ago since i threw that piece a shit Darren out on the street we been dating for a year and half now and everything is going great we recently moved in together and for what I saw we were pretty much in love that was until I came home earlier from work I’m a hairdresser I own my own business Bingo’s cuts I know it seems like a goofy name but my dad’s nickname for me was bingo because every Friday night he took me and my sister Jill to bingo night I always got my dad into trouble because I always used to shout out bingo he said to me once “that if you keep shouting Bingo I’m going to start calling you bingo” but that never stopped me and that was when I gotten the nickname bingo and that also the last night we went to bingo because we got banned because the person ln charge was a miserable bitch my dads words not mine he passed away shortly after I gotten the lease for the building that now is my company and I decided as a tribute to him for supporting my dream to have my own hairdressing business when everyone else told me I should give up on the idea so that’s why I called it Bingo’s Cuts anyway I came back home early I wasn’t feeling great that morning and when I arrived home I found Darren in our bed with another woman she was a woman from his work we fought for hours he actually had the audacity to blame me he went on how I pushed him into being committed so quickly and that he wasn’t ready for a serious relationship that pushed me over the edge to start throwing everything that I could at him plates, cups, his Xbox then after I tossed everything including his whore out of my house Darren left not long after he started picking his stuff from the front yard and left with the tramp well not before I turned the sprinkles on them that was kinda the last kick in the nuts while I stood at the window enjoying the show with a bottle of wine honestly at this point I thought the water works would kick in but nothing came out I think I was just too angry to cry or maybe Darren wasn’t even worth any tears

Days gone by I took Darren off the lease which was the only thing I was gutted about because Darren was the one making the most money so I was planning on putting the house up for sale and find somewhere that I could afford i loved the house it was my first house I ever owned but I guess it was for the best because it doesn’t really have good memories well not anymore so I spent most of my time looking for somewhere to live it took me 4 weeks to find a new apartment a studio apartment it was small but cheap and it was only a train ride away from where I work which I take the train most of the time anyways but at least it’s only one train ride back at the well now old house I used to wake up pretty early and leave work pretty early too to catch two trains my sister Jill and my best friend Harriet who is also one of my employees helped me move my stuff in and I think that was when reality hit that I’m on my own now single it was weird and quite depressing I haven’t gone out much since breaking up with Darren I just went to work then came home in my cozy sweatpants and my oversized hoodie have ice cream and watch lame cheesy rom coms but tonight was different that was the night that my entire life changed when it turned upside down because that was the night I met him

I went to work that morning like I did everyday I opened the shop and got cleaned up Harriet showed up 10 minutes before opening time with our coffees “morning girl” she said with a cheering tone like always I always wonder how she does it always turns up all bubbly even when she partying hard the night before and she always was a party animal maybe that’s why she can do it maybe because her body is used to partying hard on night and still come to work all happy and full of energy “hey Harriet how was last night?” I asked still sweeping “oh my god it was amazing girl I actually ran into Joshua Green you remember Joshua from high school the geeky guy who had a huge crush on you” Harriet explained why getting ready “really wow I haven’t seen him in years how he is?” I asked “well actually he owns the new bar that we were at and he has had a major glow up” Harriet explained “you know his been asking about you?” She added with a Cheshire Cat like grin which made me blush “really?” I asked “yeah I told him about that asshole that shall not be named I told that your currently living in a studio apartment I told him about your business” “oh really why did you have to tell him all that you could of told him about the business and just stop at that” I laughed “well if I didn’t mention about you know he who shall not be named then how is he supposed to know that your single now?” She asked “ah well you could of just said that I’m single” I laughed

“Ah true I could of but I needed to tell him the story how you put the actually sprinklers on him and that slut” Harriet began laughing “yeah that was definitely the highlight of the story” we started to laugh “well I did mention that I’ll probably be back at the club tonight and I did say you would be joining me” Harriet said avoiding my eye contact “Harriet why?” I asked “because you need to get out there again come on Y/N come out tonight with me and the girls we can even invite Jill please?” Harriet begged “I don’t know I don’t feel like I’m ready” I said “oh come on Y/N I’m not asking you to jump into bed with the next guy who gives you googling eyes even if it is Joshua” Harriet started giggling and again I blushed “just come out tonight have fun let your hair down have fun” Harriet said “fine but I’ll just be there for a one or two drinks and then I’m going” “deal I’ll text Jill” Harriet said with excitement then the door opened which set off the little bell “Ah Mrs Crane good morning you want your usual?” I asked with a welcoming smile “morning Y/N yes please I would like my usual” she smiled “ok dokie well please take a seat I’ll be back with a nice cup of coffee”

I couldn’t remember what happened after hearing Trevor is dead I don’t even remember returning home with the sheriff she drove Billy’s truck I was too in shock I didn’t even know what happened to Rhett afterwards my god Rhett did he literally just admitted that he loved me? Rhett Abbott the guy who made my life hell so much he literally drove me out of town just said that he only did those things because he loved me great I just found out that my brother is dead and all I can think about is Rhett what the fuck is wrong with me? The sheriff followed me inside the house inside Luke was comforting Billy who was crying while the other deputy was comforting my dad who was like me just in shock they turned their heads towards me Billy quickly jumped off Luke’s shoulder and headed towards me and nearly whipped me out from the speed and strength when he hugged me which kinda dragged me back into reality a little

“His gone Y/N Trevvor is gone” Billy cried into my shoulder I rubbed his back with a little tear starting to go down my cheek “yes I just heard Billy I’m sorry” “you have nothing to apologise for sweetheart” dad finally said something we all turned to him “if anything it’s the Abbotts who should be apologising they took your brother my boy” dad said angrily which made him cough he lungs up I quickly rushed to comfort him “now Wayne we don’t know if the Abbotts had anything to do with Trevor’s death” the sheriff said “of course they had your deputy just told us that he was found beaten to a pulp and Rhett did say he gotten into a fight with him he clearly killed Trevor and Royal and probably the other one helped him get rid of the body” Luke said

“Yes he was found beaten but we don’t know yet if that was the cause of his death” the sheriff tried to explain the sheriff and the deputy gave each other an awkward look before exiting they said their final apologises for our lost before they left my dad turned to me trying to hold in his tears “is there anything you can do Y/N?” I looked down to the ground for a moment because I knew that I couldn’t do anything which made me even more of a failure “I’m sorry dad but she right we can’t yet prove that Rhett or anyone of the Abbotts did kill Trevor but don’t worry dad once we prove that they did kill Trevor I promise you I will make it my mission to be sure that they rot in prison” I angrily said dad didn’t respond but gave an approval nod “ok I should go and tell mum I said that I would contact her if we gotten an update” I said and and left to go into my room.

Once I shut the door I fell to the floor trying to catch my breath everything was spinning all my thoughts were charging at me all at once Trevor is dead, Rhett admitted that he loved me and what’s worse that this could be the same man that might of killed my brother the man I just swore that I would make sure that he rotted in prison if the sheriff is able to find evidence that he did in fact kill Trevor moments before I would of happily put the cuffs on Rhett Abbott myself but now after what he just admitted I’m not sure that I can now because truthfully i don’t want to because I actually had feelings for him

It was before he was an asshole truthfully that what broke me the most the boy that I fell in love with hated me made my life hell it was the moment I first say him it was at the ice skating rink a fight broke out between Luke and Perry Luke got hit pretty hard and Perry ran off and my dad was threatening Royal even though Royal was trying to be nice I was just coming back from getting an ice cream that was when I saw Rhett sticking up for his dad I didn’t know what it was about him maybe it’s because I’ve never seen anyone let alone a little boy stand up to my dad i had butterflies in my stomach that day the same butterflies that slowly died when Rhett started picking on me at school

I thought that those butterflies were dead and buried especially after what he did to me at prom but when he told that he never hated me that he actually loved me those butterflies returned like a Phoenix rising from the ashes I mean I didn’t know what to do slap him for his clearly terrible timing or kiss him my thoughts were interrupted by the buzzing in my jacket pocket I took it out thinking it was either work or mom or even Maria who probably of heard about the news to check to see if I’m ok but it was none of the above talk about speak of the devil it was Rhett Abbott himself and he gotten straight to the point “hey can we talk?”

So the night came quite quickly I barricaded inside my room to avoid dad and the others arguing dad still convinced that there was CTV footage but they were projecting the Abbotts probably because Rhett apparently being an alcoholic was there good customer plus Rhett being the star in town being a pro bull rider like his dad dad wanted the boys to go down the bar and threaten the bar staff to give them to footage even go as far as smashing the place up like that would do any good after hearing about my run in with Rhett Luke wanted to go and smash his face in again like that would do any good I tried to make them see sense but never got no where so I decided to go and get ready a little early for my night out with Maria which I was dreading because I really really didn’t want to go but she gave Rhett an alibi and she was the only one who seen Trevor alive with the Abbotts so I needed to do with to see if she was lying and projecting Rhett I don’t know why but deep down I actually hoped that she was lying I don’t know why I felt like that maybe because I thought Maria was a nice girl sweet and had potential to do something good in life and she can do soo much better than Rhett Abbott I mean just the imagine of them together made me feel sick

I arrived at the bar and it was very busy luckily I came early to get an empty booth I ordered a beer and waited for Maria it was a hour until she arrived she was wearing a nice casual dress with a denim jacket that looked way too big for her I looked down at myself and wondered maybe wearing this was a mistake “wow look at you” Maria said “yeah I know I feel so underdressed I’ve been trying to wear this for months and I thought that maybe tonight might be my only chance but now I’m kinda regretting it” “oh come on you look amazing” Maria laughed she ordered her beer and we began catching up then there was a little awkward silence “so any news on Trevor yet?” She finally asked trying to break the ice “oh no not yet but we’ll find him” I smiled I was playing away peeling off the beer sticker “I’m sorry Y/N I’m sure he’ll turn up” Maria said I I just smiled and nodded the bar door opened and Rhett walked in I stared which Maria turned to see who it was she smiled and waved Rhett over I rolled my eyes

After the pharmacy and the run in with that asshole Abbott my blood was still boiling I literally stormed to the scene of the crime clenching on the bag full of dad’s medicine god I hope I’m able to see this CTV footage because if not I’m going to lose my shit and walked in the bar and all those morning drinkers I like to call them were staring at me i smiled to ease off the tension they all went back to what they were doing and made my way to the bar I was greeted by one of the bartenders a young blonde quite pretty “hi can get you something sweetie?” She asked with great customer service smile i smiled her calling me sweetie she clearly younger than me if anything I’m the one who should be calling her sweetie “hi I’m Y/N Tillerson I’m Trevor Tillerson’s sister I’m also my family’s lawyer and i was wondering if I could see the CTV footage of the night that Trevor Tillerson disappeared?” I asked her smile quickly faded “oh I’m sorry miss Tillerson like I told the sheriff the CTV hasn’t worked in years” she tried to sound sympathetic “ok is there anything you can tell me about the night when Trevor went missing?” I asked started to become more irritated

“Sorry no I was behind the bar serving it was quite busy you know how it gets when it’s rodeo season but I did see Rhett literally running out of the bar with that Maria Olivares following him out” the bartender said oh great first seeing Rhett now I have to talk to another person I hate maybe I’ll wait to talk to that bitch Olivares another day quite honestly I don’t know why I hate her she was always sweet and kind to me she even stuck up for me a couple of times i was about to leave then I bumped into a familiar figure Royal Abbott “oh my god Y/N i heard you were back it’s so good to see you kid” Royal brought me in for a hug I hugged him back it felt awkward considering the situation but royal was always good to me his was more of dad to me than my actual dad growing up “Royal it’s great to see you and wow you haven’t aged a day” I laughed Royal giggled “well I would like to say the same thing about you but wow you look so grown up” “yeah how is the family?” I asked “well we’re ok I guess trying to survive Perry has a daughter now Amy and we’ll I would like to talk about Rhett but from what I’ve heard you already had a catch up” I smiled gritted my teeth secretly I wonder if that is why royal was here maybe Rhett has told him about me wanting to look at the CTV “ah so I’m guessing Rhett has told you about my little plan and you came here to stop me?” I asked “actually no I ran into the sheriff she told me about having to spilt you and Rhett up before you kick his ass I’m actually here looking for him these are one of his popular spots” “oh well everyone seems to be in good spirits so I’m guessing Rhett’s not here”

I was about to leave the bar “he missed you, you know” Royal spoke up I turned slowly back towards facing him with a confused expression on my face “Rhett when you left he hadn’t been himself for weeks he kept to himself most of time, he ditched those loser friends of his and he spent a lot of his free time in his room” I was quite shocked that Rhett Abbott the boy who made my life a living hell missed me maybe it was guilt? “Well that’s hard to believe it’s nice seeing you Royal” I smiled before leaving the bar I checked my phone for the time to see if I had plenty of time to go and talk to Maria but didn’t really have much time thank god I headed back to the parking lot with so much mixed emotion I was angry that there wasn’t any CTV footage to see what happened to Trevor it made me angry that Rhett was right but then that angry turned into something else thinking about Rhett and thinking how he missed me it couldn’t be true i waiting for Luke and well things haven’t changed because like always Luke is a hour late I was pacing back and forth just in a world of my own then I heard my named being called I turned to find Maria of all people walking to towards me “hey Maria it’s good to see you” I smiled “wow Y/N i almost didn’t recognise you Rhett wasn’t wrong you look great” speaking of things haven’t changed Rhett still likes gossip especially when it’s about me god I remember when that asshole told the whole school that i was afraid of the dark at 10 years old

I woke up to the smell of French toast I got up from the bed realising I slept in my clothes that i wore before I decided to get myself cleaned up I showered brushed my teeth and gotten into some clean clothes and made my way into the kitchen to find Billy making French toast with Luke helping dad with his breakfast “morning” I said “morning hope you slept well?” Billy asked “oh yeah I can’t believe all these years that mattress is still the best thing I slept on” i laughed “yeah we didn’t want to get rid of it in case you ever came back” dad said i felt like that remark was abit of jab for leaving and not coming back but I just smiled “so what’s everyone plans for today?” I asked “well as Billy was the one who spent yesterday looking for Trevor and I was here looking after the ranch it’s my turn go out” Luke explained “well why don’t I join you?” I asked “that’s a good idea pumpkin maybe you can go to the The Handsome Gambler maybe you can try and use your lawyer skills to get hold of the CTV footage” dad beamed up “but I need a warrant dad” I said “oh don’t worry pumpkin you’ll figure something out” dad smiled “oh also could you also do some  errands just some bits and bobs and also could you be possibly get your dear dad’s medication from the pharmacy please?” He asked while handing me the prescription “sure dad” I smiled me I finished my French toast and we left for town “can you actually get a hold of the CTV without a warrant?” Luke asked trying to break the ice “well I’ve never actually been put in that position to find out” I laughed “so how you holding up with this whole Trevor thing?” I asked

“Well it’s been tough we already struggling after dad’s heart attack but we been managing but I’m glad that your back sis I really missed you” Luke smiled for the real this time “yeah I’m actually happy to be back too I’ve missed you guys” I said “so why did you leave in the first place then? I mean you didn’t even say goodbye and when dad took a bad turn I thought you would have rushed back but you didn’t” Luke asked I took a moment to try and figure out to lie about why I left I mean can you imagine what Luke would do if he found out that Rhett the person who might be responsible for our brother’s disappearance is the reason why I left “just I needed to figure things out” I said

When we got into town I climbed out when Luke parked in front of the pharmacy we agreed to meet up in the same place in 2-3 hours it gave me chance to to do the errands and go to The Handsome Gambler I walked in and already had eyes on me I guess it doesn’t matter how much you changed people still see little old Tillerson I got up to the front waiting behind this cowboy that I didn’t recognise at all but when I heard his voice my blood started to boil still had that insufferable voice I see I just stood there heart racing my nails digging in my sides breathing heavily waiting for the moment that motherfucker to turn around and face me even though I might be coming face to face with my brothers potential killer but when he turned I was taken back he seemed different older and quite handsome I mean he wasn’t ugly before but he seemed to have gotten better looking he stood in his tracks when he noticed me like a deer in headlights “Y/N?” Rhett asked still in shock “Rhett” I gave him a sarcastic smug not even trying to pretend that I’m pleased to see him “wow I mean for a moment I didn’t really recognise you, you look so different” “well that is what happens Rhett we get older we look different” I said Rhett gave a small chuckle god I wanted to punch him so badly “you still have that Tillerson bitchy attitude guess things doesn’t change” Rhett laughed “well what do you expect Rhett I mean your the main reason why I left town, the reason why I didn’t come back even when my dad took a bad turn and apparently your the reason why I’m back in this hell hole you know your clearly responsible for my brother’s disappearance” I said the anger started to build up I didn’t even planned to say all those things but it’s just that Rhett knows how to push my buttons he seemed quite shocked at my statement but which part I couldn’t really tell “look I’m sorry about what I did I was a stupid kid and i regretted ever since I mean I wanted to apologise and regarding Trevor I didn’t do anything yeah I punched him but he asked for it I’m already cleared by the sheriff” Rhett explained

“Yeah well we’ll find out soon enough especially when I get my hands on the CTV footage of that night” I said with a smile trying to get under his skin see if he’ll crack under pressure “ah yeah I forgot your a fancy lawyer now good for you” Rhett said sarcastically “yeah but not good for you or your family now I’m a fancy lawyer and already got my hands on a warrant to have access in seeing the CTV i guess we’ll see what actually happened that night” I smiled Rhett did nothing but laugh “and what so funny?” I asked started to get annoyed he came closer to me enough I could feel him breathing my heart started racing faster than ever before “i just think it’s funny how you clearly don’t remember anything about this place because if you did you’ll know that the town’s bar CTV has been busted years ago years even before you packed up and left” Rhett whispered with a pretend pout I shoved him back hard enough he nearly fell on his ass enough to catch the attention of other customers Rhett noticed that I was trying angry and upset he saw the tears fallen down my cheeks he lifted his hands surrendering  “you know what I get it your still pissed about what me and my friends did to you that night and again I’m so sorry and if I could take it back I would especially knowing that what I did was the reason why you left but come on Y/N going after my family after everything they did for you this isn’t you” Rhett said “yeah your right this isn’t me but your also right that I am still pissed about what you did to me that night and being In this town seeing you again it makes me sick to my stomach and the only thing that gives me great pleasure is that me proving that you had something to do with my brothers disappearance and once I do I get to see you locked up while my family destroys your family and takes everything that you love so dearly and you have to live in your shitty cell with the fact that all of this was because you changed me Rhett you are the reason why I’m like this I will always and forever hate you for it” I said angrily sheriff Joy rushed in clearly someone called in the fight probably the pharmacist behind the desk he has been gone for a while “alright you two knock it off or ill have you both arrested” Joy said coming in between me and Rhett
