This is a piece I did for GCSE. Also I have started a patreon for my art work. A $10 reward is an A4 portrait of your choice. 🌺 https://www.patreon.com/lewiswighamart

I created a copy of Francoise's artwork using acrylic paint. I went on to create a pastiche using marker pens and a guide to where the basic lights and tasks of the face are. 🌺

My next artist is Françoise Nielly. She uses oil paints and a pallet knife to create her colourful paintings. I later attempted to make a copy of her work 🌺

I then experimented with paints for different media for my flower on a big hue painting I have done. I attempted marker pens, pencil and tissue paper. However I did not try paint. 🌺

I then drew out the grid and produced two drawings from the grid method. After this is drew my boyfriend using biro pen to explore new media. 🌺

After Chuck Close research I moved on to creating a pastiche using the grid method like him. So I planned and took some photos of my own. I then chose my favourite photo and edited it in Adobe Photoshop. 🌺

My first artist, Chuck Close. I have produced a copy of his work using the grid method and also analysed one of his pieces named "Big Self Portrait" 🌺

Decided to try an idea that I had for a final piece at alevel. I'll spend more time on the final piece but this is a basic sketch of my idea 🌺

Thinking about using coloured pencils on this for practise. Can’t decide yet. Just practising basic facial details and places for features.🌺

Two pieces I'm currently working on for my A level. I need to demonstrate a basic skill for facial proportions and explore it in different media. 🌺
