Hey, I lived a good enough life. [chuckles] And I like their stuff! Cookies are good. Bread’s amazing. Have you tried their pizza dough? Focaccia with blueberries? No one does it like them, not even me. Well! [tilts his head to a side] I mean. I make pretty good bread, but still. I just think Subway cookies are sublime. I’ll die on that hill.

“Subway is one step up from school lunch. I honestly don’t know how they made it this far in business.” 

It’s good for when you’re in a pinch, you know? I’ll give ‘em that. But – didn’t they say they didn’t find any tuna in the tuna they use for the subs? [He laughed and shuddered] Gross, man. But as bad as it can be, because it can - those cookies. I’m sorry to The Sweet Spot, but they will never come close to Subway cookies. To me, at least. Best cookies in town- especially warm. 

“Aw man, we need a good Sub slash deli shop around here. There’s no place around here to get a really good Italian sub.”

“What, the Italian sub from Subway is not good enough for you?” he joked, giving Jeremy a nudge. “Those meatballs are probably 10 years old, man, it’s gross.”

“I could go for some authentic Greek food. I’d sell my soul for some good Spanakopita.”

“Spana– what?” Levi chuckled. “I don’t think I can call myself a chef anymore– i don’t think I’ve ever had Greek food. What is Spakanki– that thing you mentioned?”
