From a Letterman Café

1. If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it. 

2. If you do not ask, the answer will always be no. 

The night sky looks,

Perfectly aligned with the stars gleaming

Like fireflies lost amidst the clouds.

I see the same shine,

Reflected in your eyes

As they find their way back from the sky,

Towards the ground.

I keep following your gaze,

Pondering what thoughts are you getting

Because mine are all about yours.

And then you look up,

With so many things floating in your eyes

As I try to read them

You move them away,

As if telling me to pause a little

Wait for a while, for the right time,

When you’ll let these things out

So I wait until the stars keep staring at us

And moon brings out little chills

In the air

And the night turns back
