CAPTION: You read that right: after the drama concerning Prince Theo’s birth, it turns out that the adorable little bear cub might not be Prince Nova’s son after all. Instead, a new contender has entered the mix --- none other than King Tamlin of Switzerland.

CAPTION 1: Ten months after the birth of Prince Theo, the Norwegian family’s press secretary announced earlier today that Prince and Princess Nova and Darcy are expecting their second child. A due date as well as the sex of the baby is yet to be confirmed. The prince and princess’ second baby will become fourth in line to the throne, behind older brother Prince Theo.

The palace has stated that the Queen and both families are delighted at the news. Friends of the family, such as Prince Vaug, Sandra Clifton and Duke Maxen of Norway were among those to offer their congratulations to the couple.

The pregnancy has generated international excitement and will continue to do so, especially since the birth will lack the scandal that Prince Theo’s birth faced. The couple’s first pregnancy announcement sparked controversy as it emerged that the two were not yet married when Prince Theo was conceived, with Prince Nova having only recently ended the engagement between himself and Princess Anastasia.
