So the alart went off in our building and we had to walk down 10 flights of stairs with a stroller, baby, and dog. But there are perks :) ... family time and a relaxing view of our apartment! (at Main Street Garden Park)

We had such a good easter...although we only have this picture to show for it lol Both of our phones were dead all day😑💀 But we had such a great day celebrating the resurrection of our Saviour! Church was amazing @watermark and then we went to brunch in uptown that was SO GOOD: sweet cream corn bread, eggs, chwaffles, churros, tacos, fruit and mimosas!

Always working...no time for me anymore never enough milk breaks or nap times😂😂...you can work but when will you crawl?? I have a workaholic 10 month old on my hands lol! (with 8 teeth by the way!) In a couple of months he will be able to wear some sloans and gracies my baby lularoe model!

When people ask me why I am starting my business, this is what I think about. ❤ I want to be able to look at the sweetest sleeping baby I have ever known during nap time and not have to leave him for 8 hours while I work. I want to be able to provide for my family along side Christopher and ease his burden as sole income maker. I want the financial freedom of getting rid of our debts as we start our new life as a family. This baby has changed my worldview about a hundred things like what it means to be a leader, a disciple of Christ, a parent, a provider, a protector, a mother, a friend. Chris and I always joked about never wanting to have kids till we were well off, debt free, and stable in our careers. We thought maybe 5 years from now we would start planning a family. When we had Francis, those things weren’t even an issue anymore and we realized that he fit in just perfectly with this stage of our lives. Francis has filled our lives with so much more joy and love than we could have ever imagined. I always thought that having a baby would be such a burden but it doesnt even feel like that. We still want those things we dreamed of before, but this baby has made our determination to reach them even more of a burning passion in our hearts. He is my why, my who, my what, my when, and how. I am so lucky to have this gift in my life. God has blessed us so much and I know He has special things in store for baby boy.
