“Fine.” Leslie said, slowly opening her computer again. “Who are you anyway?” 

Aldrich sat, quietly slumped back upon the bench as his eyes gazed out upon the passing students. He was calm, quiet even, and his brow was knotted together in thought. Slightly nervous, he found himself absent mindedly chewing on the end of his thumbnail, a dozen things running through his mind. He’d discovered a lot of things whilst he was at the university, but….. how to put it all into practise. What did they have that he didn’t…..

“Hey” She said backhandedly. “You buggin’ out or somethin’?” She dropped her bag on the ground between them and looked to her friend for an answer. She cared a little more than she led on.

“If we drown, you’ll bet your ass you’re not coming on the plank with me. We may have had a hot, fleeting relationship but I’m leaving you for the sharks. Hashtag fish food.” Wade mimicked her pose. “And whattaya mean by angle? Every angle is my best angle.”

“Isn’t that how relationships work anyway?” Leslie all but laughed, completely believing that’s how things were. Not that she knew, but that’s how it seemed to her. “If it means anything, I’d throw you to the shark faster than you can say Hashtag fish food and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.” The girl leaned to where Wade was in another funny angle. “Oh, yeah. You go look good from this one...” She said with her eyes closed. “If you close your eyes.” She said, just being mean.

“Is that girl code? I must’ve missed that episode.” Leslie admitted, sliding her phone into her back pocket. Crossing her arms, she almost had to decipher what the other student’s ramblings meant. “Looks like it. I’m gonna need to find the angle you’re seein’ though. Anyway I look at it...” Her words trailed off to a stop. Then she let out a laugh and shook her head. “Anyway- The important question is are we gonna drown in the end? I don’t do water.” 

“-But I don’t know you, and you sure as hell don’t know me. That means I can’t trust you not to break my things.” 

“Someone needs to watch their attitude and who they use that attitude towards.”

“Not enough time.” The blue haired girl said, sending the tweet despite his disapproval. “If we’re gonna get you to the top, we gotta start now. As in now now. No waiting around. We’ll get you into another photoshoot... Someday.” She lied, imitating the managers she saw run through her old internship offices years ago. “-and the chest thing...” She said, poking him on each pecks. “You’re a little flat chested, but I ain’t got much either. We gotta rep what we got..”

“What does that even mean?.. Actually, I take that back. I don’t think I wanna know. I’ll just.. leave you to it, then.”

Seriously sometimes I really cant stand wearing that cloak

Kori jumped she hadn’t expected to discover the blue haired girl loudly singing as she passed her dorm. Kori liked seeing the girl let loose and though Kori knew from her reputation that if she were caught Leslie would probably kill her she couldn’t resist watching her rock out. Unfortunately her good natured giggle gave her away.
