i think americans should have to put a banner above their post that says U.S. CENTRIC ADVICE/INFORMATION. i think political posts should clarify that they are giving protest/societal/class information relevant only to the USA i think i would like to stop getting halfway through a post with really good information and then realising it is not widespread advice and is only applicable in the united states of america

i think both sides have different struggles, both rooted in misogyny (the idea that being a woman is “shameful”, that anyone amab who wants to do that is a freak or a predator, and that anyone afab who doesn’t is just self-hating and yearning for status), and understanding that is much more productive than any artificial separation i keep seeing attempted all the time on here. we’re all trans. we have to stay together or none of us will see what we want
