The silliest thing I find about this whole "they only got 30 years together in the end with no memories of their shared history so what was the point" is that EVERYONE THINKS THEY ONLY MET EACH OTHER IN THIS ONE SINGULAR LIFETIME REALITY instead of my immediate thought that as its architects, Aziraphale and Crowley were wound so deep into the fabric of the new universe that there is a version of them finding each other and falling in love every single generation for billions and billions of years??????

what if the same went for angels, but instead of each angel having their own unique characteristics (only there to serve god = no anything basically), they all share the same trait: theyâre all wolfish. wolves are pack animals and are extremely loyal, but only to each other.
aziraphale would, of course, have these wolfish features too (thick hair, sharp canines, whatever floats ur boat) but as he spends more time on earth with humans, falling in love with the planet (and crowleyyyy), he âevolvesâ without even realizing. heâs separated himself from heaven and from that copy-paste idea of an angel that heâs changed to have the traits of a dog. manâs best friend and protector, aziraphales turned against heaven to protect humanity, no longer loyal to his âblood family,â but to his chosen family.
For Trans Day of Visibility, I wanted to revisit my decade-old graphic essay about reading Holmes as trans. Originally written for the second issue of the much-missed Practical Handbook, it remains the most popular post on my blog and probably one of the pieces I am most proud of! I did not really want to simply update it, since it is an introduction of sorts to the subject â and I sincerely promise that within the next decade I will finish writing my actual essay â so I thought Iâd instead reflect from a more personal angle. I love queer history, I love queer readings, I love fandom meta, I love Holmes scholarship, and most of all I love being trans. Iâve changed a lot as a person in the past ten years but my constant has always been the support of my friends, peers, and everyone who interacts with my art and ramblings! Would definitely recommend questioning your genderâŚand also making more characters trans and more trans characters.
