A “Doodler's" notebook is a lined notebook with a blank section for doodles and picture notes on the bottom of every other page. Also, Doodler’s and normal notebooks have the option for decorative images on the pages for no charge, depending on theme.

You cool with that?” Barry nodded slowly, considering. “Yeah. I can be cool with that.” “Really? You’re cool with letting me kiss you? Letting me touch you, in public? Helping me put on a bit of a show for Central City’s criminal elite?” Barry swallowed hard, but didn’t look away. “Is that really how you treat guys you date?” Len allowed a bit of a smirk to creep back to his face. “No, actually. But these people don’t know that. Like I said, I have a reputation to uphold.” ~*~ To track down a ring of smugglers moving goods into Central City, Barry convinces Captain Cold to bring him as his date to Frank Santini's annual end-of-summer party. Len is willing enough, especially since it means spending the evening with Barry Allen under his arm. Neither of them is expecting feelings to enter the equation.

This was a labor of love. When I got this paper I was hoping it was foiled, but it was not. It's 6x6 origami, which makes it tricky to work with, but so pretty. For this one I wanted to see if I could apply my own foil look with thin washi tape. I could, it was a lot of work, but it looks so AMAZING I can't regret it. I carried the gold onto the back cover as well...mostly because there's somthing on my work table the stain dark cardstock with little white dots and this was the best way to handle it. I was originally going to add a gold snowflake to the cover, as it's an important visual, but it didn't work so I moved it inside. Still works.

The Lonely Hearts Club

He's spent his life trying to show the world what a real hero looks like, and takes pride in being a better cop than his old man could ever have hoped to be. If being driven and ambitious means he's left alone and lonely off the job, at least he's making his mark on the world. Then the particle accelerator blows up, and the dark matter changes everything about life in Central City. As a cop, there's only so much Len can do to protect his city, but Captain Cold has a chance to make a true difference. Since the day his father was arrested, Barry Allen has struggled against the prejudice of being a killer's son. People whisper that apples don't fall far from the tree and nothing good can grow from a bad seed. Though he carries a debt that can never be repaid for the lives of his father's victims, he's also learned the hard way - the world will never give him anything that he doesn't take for himself. With his powers, the Flash is an unstoppable thief. Of course, an easy job is no fun, and the chance to play with Captain Cold makes it even more interesting.

This is actualy a two part series I turned into a single book. It seems crazy, but it works well. The cover was nerve wracking, but it's so great! I did a wrap around in red, printed out the title, and then covered it with faux leather cut on my Circut. Very strong Reverse Flash feels, which is appropriate. I'd had the Cricut maybe two weeks when I did this, but I knew I wanted to try this. It looks amazing, despite that annouying stain. And then I used broken hearts as details and a page break; but as a cute detail the end page has a whole heart.

By the Red Moonlight

I was thrilled to be able to use this Halloween paper for this cover, it fits so well. I paired it with the red faux velvet to give that rich look and a nice texture when I hold it. The title was made with my label maker, but it works better this time. So that glittery red moon looks amazing, but I tried centering it on the decorative paper. It just came out very crooked, so I used the title to balance it out and I think it all works well.

Trick or Treat

Only days after stealing the cold gun, Leonard Snart is tracked down by an ex-girlfriend and discovers that he is the father to a little 5-year-old girl with meta powers. As he struggles to balance his old life of crime with his new life as a father, Len finds love in the very man that could either save him or throw him even deeper underwater. . Barry is surprised to see Captain Cold show up on his doorstep this Halloween, his heart beating fast as he worries that Snart has discovered his identity. But that night, Barry sees a new side of Leonard that he never thought was possible.

This cover was...a mess. The back cover with the houses was supposed to be the front cover, but I applied it upside down so it had to become the back. Then I used the silver as the front and applied a title, but didn't like it and removed it. That left a big tear in the middle so I used the brick to cover it up. The title worked out well, it's actually all from my stamps and card making kit; the advantage of a story having a common phrase as a title. In the end, the cover it sbetter for it, but it was a struggle. Also, I used red moons as page breaks.

An Internal Affair

Leonard Snart, the CCPD Captain of Internal Affairs, is known as Captain Cold for a very good reason: He hates corrupt cops with a merciless vengeance, and once you're on his list, you're in serious trouble. His next target? A CCPD lab tech named Barry Allen who's developed a suspicious habit of disappearing at random intervals.

I put the extra effort on this book to make something I'm insanely proud of. I pushed my Cricut hard to make this badge and it worked beautifully. And the splash is a new paper stock I grabbed with print on only one side, which makes them great for splash pages (I won't get into that). It came out lovely and encourages me to push myself on other covers.

I. LOVE. THIS. STORY! This is my absolute favorite ClodFlash story I've ever read, hands down. I LIVE for Cop Len and this is that plus the snarkyness I adore him for. And sweet Barry being charming but naïve, manipulated by a bastard but always striving to do best by everyone. I love watching him find himself again and seeing Len make a legend for himself as the head of IA. Watching them fall for each other is so sweet, and a bit bitter sweet. And Kara Danvers coming in to be the best assistant in the world and getting appreciation for her skills! I LOVE THIS STORY!!!!!!!!!!!

Shuffle Up and Deal

Mike glanced around the table, but found no clues forthcoming, so he asked, “Jackpot?”

“Haven’t you guessed yet? That would be you.” Mike opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

This was my first, and currently only, printed cover book. I made it myself from stock images and then wrapped it with a faux velvet spine. I impressed myself with this one and hope I get the chance to do it again. I also added some fun card images for inner title and page breaks.

Joni_Beloni is a master of balancing pain, pleasure, story, and romance in their work, and this is no exception. Mike is trying to live his best life and Harvey just swoops in and makes a mess, but then it turns out he's also a mess. Mike is not having a very good time, but he's willing to stick it out and then save the day. It's a great read and amazing characterization that I expect and adore in Joni's work.

The Strange Courtship of Mike Ross

Mike Ross has been arrested for drug running, but because of his Omega status he cannot be thrown in jail. So he and his partner in crime have been turned over to the National Commission for Omega Rehabilitation, where they will be force-bonded to upstanding Alphas. Harvey Specter was just doing a favor for a friend, but when a frightened Omega (literally) crashes into his life, he steps into a role he never expected.

This was my first wrap cover, so the front wraps to the back making the spine. It was a great technique, but part of me wishes I hadn't wrapped it front to back. Still it came out very nice and I like it. Oh, and the title was printed and then cut out with a crafting paper cut die (if you know, you know)

Imprimatur

Mike was raised to believe Imprint was a life-changing event for those few lucky enough to experience it. Harvey was raised to believe it was a form of mental illness. When it actually happened, neither of them noticed.

Mostly gray cardstock with some bright colors accents, simple and fun. The spine paper was thinner then I expected, buckled when I applied glue, but it came out good.

Sentinel/Guide Fusion

Mike is a Sentinel who just wants to finish school and get a job. Harvey is a Guide who just wants to close his newest client. But soon after they meet and are drawn together, they are swept up into new case involving blackmail, sex, and the intricacies of Sentinel-Guide bonding, and are forced to challenge their long held assumptions about themselves.

If you're wondering if this fabric makes you dizzy in real life too, the answer is yes. But it's so fun I knew I had to use it for a book at some point, and it felt fun for this. The title is an iron-on label that went a bit wrong, but it's stuck. Still, it's one of my prettiest books.

Strange and Distant Shores

In 2398, reporter Felix Marian interviews Chairman Garak and Ambassador Bashir about the formation of the Cardassian Democratic Union and ends up learning more about Cardassia than he intended.

One of the more interesting covers I've done for my "Journal styles" books. Just some glitter washi tape and my first attempt making a title with my Cricut. I used some old vinyl I got from a friend and a very slim script so it was a paint to get on, but it looks nice and was a good learning experience. I also had a little fun inside with the inner image. No special page breaks because I hadn't decided to do that yet.

Even though everyone knows that holo-technology is used primarily for masturbation and only secondarily for emergency functions of starships, education on remote worlds and the smooth running of society, there still is a human prudery that lies within even Julian Bashir’s slutty, slutty heart that makes him very aware that he is bringing someone else into his literal id and inviting them, inviting Garak, to...fuck it.

Ok, so, the color choices for this was all based on this "paper quilt" I had left over from crafting club and wanted to use. And that's about it, just a "journal style" book in purple and a label maker title.

The Truth in the Lies

After the end of the Dominion War Julian finds that he is ready to move on from DS9 but before he can do that he needs to see a certain Cardassian one last time. Or at least that's what he tells himself. Julian volunteers his skills as doctor on the war torn Cardassia Prime and searches for his friend but soon discovers that nothing is as 'plain and simple' as he had originally thought.

For Better or for Worse

After dancing around each other for months Julian and Garak have finally discovered that all they really want is each other. But that's not the end of the story. Now they embark on making a life together on Cardassia and like most things in life things don't always go as smoothly as they had planned. (AN: this story picks up only hours after the previous one finished so it might be worth reading that one first.)

These two were amongst my first books so there's some problems, but I still like them. The polka Dots and Floral paper are two sides of the same cardstock, so I knew they'd match. I chose floral for "Truth in the Lies" because a garden plays a big part in the story. Then I used the same colrs for the spine, splash, and ribbons to make them complete. And, again, label maker titles.
