I feel that Kent is one of the amnesia mls that respects the mc's space the most, which i heavily appreciate. He's always thinking about possible scenarios and outcomes in his head (real tbh), making him very careful, but also causes him to misconstrue people's intentions. That combined with how logical he is makes him clumsy when it comes to love and does not recognize what it feels like. And yet, he fell in love with mc. There were many points in his route early on where I thought I picked the wrong option because Kent would say something (possibly unintentionally) sarcastic in response, but it turned out to be the correct one.

Pre-amnesia mc fought a lot with Kent, and even though we'll never know if she would make the same choices post-amnesia mc will, I think that both past and present mc love him. In one of the side stories, mc gives Kent her umbrella after seeing him give his away to the kid. Mc agreed to date Kent when he confessed even though it was treated like a challenge. Mc and Kent would always try to talk things out underneath all the fighting. When it comes to improving their relationship in his route, honesty plays a big part.

You can't be honest with Kent too early, or else he'll immediately point out that you have amnesia. I found the buildup of trust to be paced well, and the tension of Kent wanting mc to get her memories back but not wanting their relationship to potentially go sour again hit me hard. We also let Kent know about Orion, which was funny, but him believing that Orion is real speaks to his growth of trust in us. Also, it's an obvious parallel, but seeing Kent going from not understanding when mc did not want to lose her dog to Kent desperately not wanting to lose mc after she gets hit by a car because he now knows what it's like to love someone was soooo good 😭.

Ahhhh his route gave me so many butterflies!!! How he ran at mach speed to mc during the festival, how he walks faster because he gets flustered at mc holding his hand, how he gives us math problems because he loves math — He truly has his own way of showing love and it's so cute 😭😭
