Rewatched Lost (abc) and decided I needed to put my blorbos in it so I created a ship crash au where there’s still imposters and crap, but at the beginning when there’s turbulence they crash on the fungle.
I have some more art cooking for this. The au will centre around Red, Purple, White, Green, and a bit of Blue and Lime. This is very susceptible to change though.

It’s so hard designing androgynous characters because you can add as many masculine features as you want and no one will bat an eye, but the second you add a feminine feature they’re girlcoded or afab or not seen as enby anymore. I hate all the sexism that views men as the standard and women as frivolous. I wanna mix feminine and masculine features but can’t without people automatically sorting them into boxes in their heads. And then when I say this I sound like I’m just pretending to care about them being androgynous and everyone knows I secretly think of them as a girl or a boy which I don’t, some people just do that automatically and then assume everyone does.

I think I’ve decided that the reason they aren’t killing everyone is since the crew discovered the kill cooldown (which is about 1 hour in my head canon, there might be something in the show that contradicts this though) and that the cooldown resets if they hear the meeting button, so every hour they just click the button and they’re all good. Sure hope an imposter doesn’t like. Lock the cafeteria doors. That would be terrible. Wink wink.
People need to start making more Red humanizations like this. This is what they’re meant to be, it’s a human with red hair and Red’s outfit, that’s their human sona.

I like to think that the parasite taking over was gradual. For Orange I head canon that they had been ignoring the parasite until Lime’s death when all of the pent up murder thoughts just came all at once, and that’s why that killing was so intense with the full transformation and stuff and right then was when Orange lost all control.
