if you don’t find yourself important, if you don’t think you will amount to anything, or have a significant role in anything, if you feel like you have no right to participate in important matters, if it’s hard for you to believe that you could be vital and central to anything, if you feel like nothing you do is important, or could possibly mean anything, if you feel like you’re expendable and it doesn’t matter if you live long or not, if you’re scared that you’ll be killed off, and that it would be justified by one reason or another, if you feel like only good that could ever come from you is to please someone or make someone happy or help someone, if you automatically assume in every group that you’re the one who is obliged to make everyone happy and satisfied, and be there for their needs and wants, and otherwise you’re a burden and worthless, and shouldn’t bother everyone with your presence,
all of these are features of “slave mind”. All of this means you’ve been socialized as a slave. Only those who’ve been slowly and long-term brainwashed to find no value in their own lives, in their own freedom, are forced to think like this. It means you’ve been treated as if you’re not human at all, as if you don’t have equal rights, even worse, someone convinced you that you aren’t valuable, that your life shouldn’t be valued, not even by you. You’ve been forced to believe that you’re less than everyone else, and that everyone else comes first, and if you’ve tried to counter that idea, you’ve been abused into terror, or drowned in a sea of guilt, accused of being selfish, cruel, harmful, toxic, a burden on everyone around you. You’ve been hurt really greatly every time you tried to stand up for your human rights, so someone could keep using you for their own benefit, while convincing you that they’re the only thing that gives you any kind of value, and keeps you alive.Â
They lied to you. You are human. Your life and your work and your words and your thoughts and your well being are just as important and valuable as everyone else’s. Your life is yours, it belongs to you, it’s not there to serve others or to make others happy, it’s only there for you. Nobody has the right to make you feel guilty for fighting for yourself. You don’t owe anything to the world, not to your parents, not to other people. You’re not obliged to make the world a better place for everyone else but for you. World hasn’t given you even the mere basic human rights. You’re allowed to hate it for that. Your experience is human experience, and anyone who would force a human being to go thru this is a monster by default.Â
