When I was thinking about what to draw a voice spoke to me and told me I shouldn’t draw more Sapphic Deseret Punk Girlies. I immediately recognized this as the voice of the devil and drew some Sapphic Deseret Punk Girlies. As God intended.

Gilbert Baker added a 9th stripe shortly before his death, with the new stripe representing diversity. He added this stripe in reaction to the 2016 US election. It’s unfortunately not as well known as the 8 and 6 striped versions.

The reason He made me female instead of male at the beginning of this life is the same reason He gave us grapes yet made us work for the wine, the same reason we were given wheat yet had to work for bread, the same reason we were given clay yet had to make bricks and then use those to build houses.

There is love and joy in creation. God called upon me and others to engage in the act of creation, to take the body He gave us and mold it into the image He always had in mind.

Ideally I'd make a post like "It is pride month! Yay! :D" ...But it is getting increasingly hard to exist as a trans person, let alone celebrate it.

We should still celebrate it. That celebration doesn't need to be loud. It doesn't need to be noticed by anyone except yourself.

They want us to feel shame at who we are. They want others to fear what we are. Pride in yourself is the antithesis of shame. So please, now more than ever, make sure you celebrate pride. Celebrate you.
