So now that faire’s over and I finally have time to type, here’s a CC Pokemon!AU I wrote after Detective Pikachu brought back all my Pokemon feels.
Sara watches the Rocket members carefully, the battle more stand off than actual competition. The Golbat is swaying more heavily, but Voltorb is still in good shape. Someone passes the opening of the alley, the Rockets shifting nervously.
“Volborb, use thunderbolt!” On of them shouts.
“Lux!” The Luxray needs no more promoting from Sara, quickly shielding his aviary companion. Electricity plays across dark fur, Sara smirking. “You boys obvioiusly haven’t studied outside the locals.” She nods toward the Voltorb, “use thunder.”
Lux steps forward, releasing the abundance of electricity. The smaller electric pokemon is overwhelmed, rolling to the side unconscious. “Nightwin, takedown.” The Golbat doesn’t stand a chance against Noctowl, being knocked into the stone wall and falling to the ground.
“Now, gentlemen.” Sara looks between the dark clad figures as they call back their pokemon. “What do you say we take a little walk to the station?”
“You aren’t a cop.” The older figure says with a chuckle.
“No, but I know a few.” She whistles, Lux pouncing forward. The younger rocket flees, the older releasing a grunt as he hits the ground. Lux growling if he dares move.
“Let him go.” A new voice comes from the opening of the alley.
“He’s a criminal.” Sara turns to glare.
“He’ll be released within the hour.” The man steps into a patch of pale light. He’s older than Sara; in tight dark jeans, a sweater and hands tucked into the pockets of his leather jacket. His salt and pepper hair is shaved close to his head, striking blue eyes staring back at her.
