when you realize three years later that your best friends throughout law school remained your college frat brothers

best part of my day

to put it simply...

a job post looks promising until you get to the part where it says: "requires ten years of experience"

so why should we hire you

finding out that there are others who are still unemployed a year after graduating from law school

Interviewer: We are looking for a real team player.

when you are hired as an unpaid intern for a year under the premise that 'if you prove yourself we will hire you,' you work your ass off, they love you, BUT nada, no money, no job. 

What magnificent things has three years of law school, passing the bar exam, eight internships, and a year and a half of applications and interviews given me?

when a public interest lawyer walks into a law firm

when people say "don't worry it'll get better soon..."

said no one, ever.

waking up to another day of unemployment and staring at the walls
