So tomorrow I have my first winter guard competition, and I am just going to ask that you pray for our team. Just a little something about being scared, stressed, and for us to perform the best of our abilities. Thank you so much!

So my last post on here I was talking about potentially shifting to Catholicism, but I’m not sure if I really can. I don’t know much about being Catholic, but from what I do see, the church is a really big part of that. That wouldn’t be a problem for me unless I’m not allowed to go to church… which I’m not allowed to go to. I don’t really know if online services would work either because I can’t really do the hands on / walk up and talk part of the service. I do like some of the aspects that I know from this denomination, but I’m not sure if I can actually be a Catholic without being part of the church. I also don’t want to be fear mongered into becoming Catholic either. I believe that no matter your denomination, if you follow and accept Christ, you will be saved. I’m not really sure what to think of it all right now, but I’m not sure I can really be anything but non denominational.

So, we have Heavenly Father, right? Who is our mom. I’ve heard of Heavenly Mother like once, but I’ve also been told to not talk about her too much. I think it’s just a popular thing in Mormonism, but like… who is our mom? We have a Father, but who is our mom. The closest thing that we really get to a mother is Mary, but we aren’t supposed to really pray to her I guess. (Side note: I love Mary so much. She’s so amazing and I aspire to be like her) ((and I aspire to be as close to Jesus as I can get, but still))

so I’m a Christian, right? And often times a lot of the things I don’t want to happen, happens to me. Sometimes I’ll think I’m my head “I wish I was dead,” “I want to kill myself,” “I wish I could just die already” which I obviously don’t want. (I could never follow through with it) but sometimes I feel like if I think that, God will kill me off because of it. I don’t know… I just feel scared that I will one day die to my own thoughts, not even wishes. I know that this is probably very unhealthy and not a normal thing, but I just want to know if anyone has ever experienced something like this with their religion.
