She didn’t have enough time to articulate her thoughts, Seunghoon’s responses came in like a fast river course. She couldn’t bring herself to tell him that she needed more than just an inquiry. Bae Suji sought for answer not more questions. And the way he said it, he sounded like it wasn’t a big deal. Lee Seunghoon probably thought it was some kind of petty girl problems that she shouldn’t even be telling him. She nibbled on her lower lips, keeping her gaze low, or trying at the very least, afraid to see frustration drawn across his face. But she couldn’t help but catch a quick view of his face and what she had laid eyes on made her heart sink The night wasn’t going as she had planned, even when he had tried to salvage it with this little game. Sadly, she had ruined this for them both… again. 

It was now convenient to disclose that pointless wait at the usual place after WIN ended. It won’t come across as her being desperate for an explanation because it had been months after all. She had taught herself not to let it bother her so much, she was fairly convincing around the members, telling them that she had bumped into some old friends with whom she had a sad fall out with. It was convincing enough for her to get through the rest of the weeks, without any call or any notice whatsoever because to him, she was not anybody special in the end. She was not even relevant enough to be messaged that they had won. To him, she was just another detail in the story, a fragment of his pre-debut life that he could disclose and use to his advantage on variety shows and TV appearances. That is and probably always will be the fatal flaw of two people with an uncertain connection. Lee Seunghoon had always been too nice to say anything, but she could feel that she had merely assumed herself to be someone within his social circle, when in fact, all that had transpired was a burden and a hindrance to what he initially planned for himself.
