Some days, I just look at my reflection in the mirror and start asking myself why am I not skinny enough, why my skin looks that way, why do I have breakouts. I start wondering how it would be to have flawless skin, flat stomach and full lips. On that kind of days, no clothes fit me well, all the make up in the world wouldn’t be enough for me to stop seeing my acne. On that kind of days, I don’t want to go out, I just want to stay in bed hoping that the next day will be different.

And then..

That kind of days come. And on that kind of day I freaking love myself, I love my curves and the way it makes my clothes tight on me. I appreciate the fact that my acne fades a little and disappear with some foundation. I love my plump yet not full lips. My greenish eyes and my long and thin fingers.

What I’m trying to say is that some days it’s okay to not feel good.. I’m 22 and I’m still trying to figure out how to fully embrace myself, my all self, which means my many qualities and my flaws.

I know I’m going to have many more bad days but I also know that I will forget this bad days with the good ones.
