This is heritage. The 1940s Lebois & Co Chronographe in gold with telemeter scale. Did you know a telemeter enables you to determine your distance from an event that is both visible and audible? Take for instance a lightning storm. Start the chronograph hand ticking when you see the flash of lightning. Then stop when you hear the thunder rumbling. The chronograph hand will point your distance from the storm. Then take another measurement in order to determine whether the storm is moving away from you or towards you!
