baran and yolanda who loves to spoil her rotten at every opportunity.

they take trinity shopping and watch when she tries on some new jeans after much convincing from them, just to shrug even as they fit perfectly and say it’s fine, what she’s got will do. yolanda buys them.

Trinity who, for the first three months they're in her closet, will only wear the new jeans Yolanda bought her when they go out together, who silently started wearing her denim shorts when Baran "lost" her old pair of jeans after a weekend trip, even if brisk weather called for longer denim. One unremarkable day with an equally unremarkable migraine that promises to chase Trinity out of the ED, Baran gives Trinity a change of clothes from home, switching hands just before hand offs as Trin's shift ends and Baran's begins. Trinity studies the change of clothes Baran brought for her and notices the jeans Yolanda bought her paired with Trinity's rattiest, most comforting sweater and t-shirt. She takes the silent comment for what it is. She starts wearing them in her normal rotation after that.

Trinity, who could not bring herself to set up the new console until Dennis eventually did it for her without being asked, who politely found something to do in his room as Trinity stood adrift in the living room, staring into the glow of the loading screen for the most expensive gift she'd ever received. Eventually, Trinity powers the console off and lays in bed, wondering how she'll pay Baran back. Yolanda is the first to request they play Baldur's Gate each time they gather at Trinity's apartment. Trinity handles the controller and Baran guides their choices while Yolanda cooks in the background, and slowly but surely Trinity starts to accept that her girlfriends are going to spoil her rotten, and maybe that's okay.
