He also likes to stay home and be in his books, but has a very deep connection with Alma as they share an interest in their species. Both raised in a forest on their own, they are obsessed with finding their familes. But Vito may feel something even deeper for Alma. He's not sure yet.

Alma Thurman is a rare species, native to Hyleman. She is a Seer, an elf-like creature who is said to have seen the universe's secrets in the womb, leaving them with abyss-like eyes.

She's quiet in nature, and tends to stay at home with her horse or Iserana. She practices alchemy between her job as a fortune teller, and gardens from time to time. But her real interest, lies in discovery of her kind.

Seers are so rare that not much is written about them. Alma's never even known her family. All she wants to do is discover her past, and her heritage.

Tamgen is a shy little elf. He's a total pushover, and is not nearly as interested in love as he is in farming and being with his horse, Knight. His relationship with Arilva is very one sided; as much as he cares about her, he doesn't want to get too serious and have to comply with her family obsession. For now, he hopes to just stay outside and farm.

The Mayor of Hylewood, Slyvian Beowyn, is part of a long line of elves tracing back to the village about the time city hall was built, before recorded history of the island even began. He raises his two daughters, Arilva(Right) and Iserana(Left) on his own, since their mother passed over 6 years ago.

Sylvian is a strict, seemingly emotionless parent, with a poor relationship with both his daughters. It's not clear, but Iserana believes he finds it hard to look at her because she is a spitting image of her mother. Arilva is much too fun loving and absent minded for Sylvian to understand. Both his daughters love him, and he loves them in return, he just can't show it.

Iserana is intelligent and witty by nature. Although many don't get along with her, she is compassionate about taking care of her friends, and even her sister, despite their distant relationship. She never speaks of her mother, and won't talk about the subject, much like her father.

Arilva isn't sure what to do with her life. Her father is furious about her relationship with Tamgen, Iserana doesn't approve of having to take all the blame for Arilva for leaving late at night. Truth be told, Arilva just wants to settle down with Tamgen and stick her head in her books.
