Been watching @nickvrunge ‘s watercolor classes and this is the result. Definitely saving up for his other classes 🤩

The past few days have been heavy. My sister and I have been catching each other still awake at odd hours in the morning checking our phones. I believe it’s important to stay informed, but it’s also easy to get overwhelmed by the onslaught of bad news. This is a reminder to myself and to anyone who needs it that it’s okay to take a step back from reading the news and social media once in a while. I acknowledge that it is a privilege to take a break; but, taking care of your mind and self also helps you fight better on another day

Hey guys, I’m back! I know I’ve disappeared here for months at a time-and here’s the reason why. First off, I thought of this comic a month before quarantine started. I’ve had a lot of ideas for comics before then but never decided to go past the stick figures in my notebook. I told myself that I wouldn’t do that this 2020 and try to make ‘finished comics’. So here’s the first one 👽 For those who’ve stuck here since my fanart days for the100, Carmilla and Jessica Jones-thank you. I hope you stick around because I have more things coming up, mostly original and with the occasional fanart.

Back from the dead! 2017 has been pretty crap life-wise and art-wise. I’ve spent most of my 2017 scrapping artworks that will never be seen because they didn’t feel “there yet” or stopping midway. Sometimes I don’t even start at all because of that fear that it’ll never be good enough. Trying to get rid of that mindset and just keep posting *sung the way Dory sings ‘just keep swimming’*. Here’s to hopefully more art this year! :D
