Gobble Up Knowledge~

If she could have believed in this place more, she could have accepted this place as the place she belonged. Now, she simply saw it as the place where she was to be punished for wasting her life. For not holding true to what she wanted to do, for not being honest enough to the people in her life when she should have. There were so many regrets flowing through it was like a dam of tears ready to blow at any moment.

Yet, it didn't because she couldn't let it. Allowing those emotions to flow out would ruin everything. She knew this fact to be true hence was why she was taking a moment to gather herself by the digital lake. Her only company being Lady Moon who was someone Gangle spoke to often. The ribbon girl was always fond of the moon it gave her so much. Plus, the night sky was one of the most beautiful parts of this world.

"If only I could wish for wings and fly away. I'd fly higher and higher until I was out of here. Maybe, if I flew high enough I could find a way home. I could tell Blue how sorry I was for relying on him so much, tell Pink I forgave her for as many times as it took till she believed me, tell Purple she that she sucked as a mother for putting all that pressure onto me but that I still love her. And tell Dad I'm sorry for letting his efforts go to waste when he wanted to help me so badly. I'm sorry....I'm so sorry..."

Tears fell from her eyes as she started weeping. She wanted to go home, she missed her family so much, but such dreams don't come true. She needed to stop dreaming so much. It didn't give her happiness!

It was then he heard his first voice of this game world. Gobbles turned towards it immediately but didn't approach quite yet. The voice was quiet, so quiet that if he rustled the leaves he would no longer be able to hear. But even then he could barely make out any words. What he could still tell was: this person held a deep and profound sadness. Gobbles didn't know her or what was upsetting her, but he sympathized with the emotion.

The dino almost felt bad about interrupting her to ask for help. It was as if he was getting in the way of an intimate moment meant for her ears only. That would be very rude!

So he waited longer to work up that courage. Then he finally left his hiding place with the rustling of leaves to mark his proper entry into this world. He hoped she wouldn’t be upset to find a stranger.

...why did he say that out loud? A slight pink hue grows under his eye, and he waves his hands around a little.

... It- was just an observation uh- roundness is typically associated with cuteness, you know. I didn't- uhh. ,,

He proceeds to dig himself... a bigger hole to lie in.

... I mean- when you get to smiling like that, you know- I think anyone would... w-whatever. ,,

Seeing Kaboodle like that, the learnosaurus couldn't help but giggle. He knew he shouldn't, his companion was clearly embarrassed now, but he couldn't help himself. Covering his smile with his hand probably didn't make it any better.

"No no, I get it-" His laughter wasn't stopping yet, "-thanks, Kaboodle."
