@leadingfoundation ,
Apollo was strong. Built to withstand pressure from the greatest depths. To withstand, the crushing pressure that came with traveling between universes. Crushed, pulled apart. His robotic body never failed him, and yet.. he had never felt so weak in this moment.
Foundation, had never felt so heavy.
Diving into the depths of the water. Finally.. finally, finding where he crashed into the ocean. All that time spent searching, had not been in vain.
If only he had found him sooner..
Apollo was strong, but the desperate swim up to the surface.. had never felt so heavy. So painful. He never thought that he could feel internal pain like that. Like knives sinking into his chest as he desperately dragged Founder onto the shore.
Wake up..
He scanned the other, desperately looking for any hum of life.
Please.. don’t leave me..
Carefully he pried open his leader’s chest. Hooking himself up, willing to sacrifice all his energy to get the other stable.
“Stay with me, I’m right here..”
Time and time again did his frame try to boot up. Time and time again did he try to wake up. Every attempt made with everything his energy could muster, but every single time it failed. Over and over and over again. He had lost so much energy holding onto that zero point. Minutes turned into hours. Hours turned into days... days into weeks... and weeks into months. He knew he had to escape. He had believed someone... something could set him free.. but not like this. Not an explosion of this measure. His body gave in once the blast hit. All his strength was gone. All his energy drained. All he could tell was something destroyed the one thing he was working so hard to control. And then nothing. Everything went black while his body flown through the air. All his lights and consciousness were turned offline. And he fell, and he fell, and he fell. One more try, his body booted up just before impact with the water.. but it was a sudden surge when his body hit and his vents began filling with water. His internal systems started buzzing, his inner warning alarms trying to hard to alert every possible component of his body.. darkness. Darkness once more. He couldn’t think of anything. He couldn't’ concentrate. He could only just sleep. He couldn’t feel his body being lifted from the water. He could hear the voice calling out to him. Pleading to him. All at once, his body JOLTED once, twice, three times when his lights flickered online. His body sitting up quickly as he gasped for air through his vents. A sound that was similar to a cough wheezed from his vocals. Where was he? What happened? Who was with him?
He took a moment to breath heavily. Let his processor catch up without lag. His systems checked everything and it was clear he wasn’t near 100%. His head turns to Apollo. Letting out a relieved sigh before letting himself fall onto his shoulder. It was him. Thank the heavens... it was him.
