so i was thinking about dan saying "i'm wet" and "damp" instead of saying "i'm hard" when talking about being aroused in the date everything video compared to "god i'm so fucking hard right now" said, not aggressively, but more severely, maybe. and how he used that phrasing during a stand up performance that was leaning into some of the edginess that he has explained came from a need to fit in with the aggressive boys he was surrounded by as a child and adolescent.
