This was his first break Raphael’s had during his shift and needless to say, he was glad, but one thing he wasn’t expecting was to see Bianca and especially get a compliment too. “Uh, thanks?” he looks up at her from his spot at the table he was sitting at. “A favor? Do you need some help with a patient?” He guesses with a brow raised.

once she heard that COLBY’s dad would be having a christmas party, GENESIS rose her brows and slipped a big grin on her lips. “i’m so glad that you told me this because i will be in attendance. i get to see everyone and get some good home cooked food.” she dramatically held her hand up to her chest thinking about all of the amazing food she’d eat. “why does it seem like your not as excited as I am???” the female questioned him while eating more of her food. she’d agree with him that at times his family could be a bit much but she was always happy to around them especially since she didn’t have much family of her own. “thank you. i just hope i’m not hyper within the next few minutes.” swimming the rest of her pancake in the syrup, GENESIS teased COLBY a bit by slowly eating the pancake. “you sure you don’t want any??? it’s so tasty.” bursting out in laughter she shook her head while taking another sip of her juice. “i’ll leave you alone. i know you’re trying to stay in shape.” she grabbed a napkin from the table and wiped the syrup off the corner of her mouth before pushing her brows together once she heard his serious voice. “umm, yeah of course. i’m sure he believed that but i don’t.” she chuckled. “i’ve been knowing you for how long??? and how many girls have you been with??? i’m sure your princess is somewhere and with the help of your career the girls should be easily lining up.” 

As much as he does have a passion for the christmas parties his family had, sometimes he too had to be more realistic and critical of the moment. Though it always had bring him joy and lots of company and memories, Colby couldn’t help but frown a little. “I am excited but....” he sighes, the image of his dad trying to look fine to other people popped in his head, “....I think my dad would want to make a grant gesture about how fine he is. He’d even cook the grand meal even though the doctor said he should rest more.” It felt so easy around Genesis. He could speak his mind with ease. Usually he had to butter his words up so they wouldn’t be as rough as it sounds -- maybe that’s just because he is a public figure now. “Damn, you always got me there,” he laughs. His hands were up, signing off the defeat when she offered him the sweets. He shrugged off her question. “Don’t know if he believes it but I hope he drops the topic.” He wasn’t entirely sure of his dad even believed in his words for it either. “For the record, I’m not that much of a casanova.” Though Colby knew that Genesis was right, he just didn’t want to admit that she was right. “You know, maybe I should just hire one of those girlfriend or fiancee for a day type of thing and brought that to the christmas party. That’d shock some people,” he said with a cheeky grin on his face. It’d be the best prank ever. “And by some people I mean my dad.”
