“If you don’t mind?” Willow replied after the other’s offer. “Better to be safe than sorry… right?” she added with a sheepish laugh.

“You know how before this, we said we were gonna plan a wild night out and get drunk and have fun?” Layla asked, “Well I need that to happen ASAP. I have so much steam to release from work lately.”

DANTE: Shit! I forgot that I'm related to these people.

DANTE: I go for so long being unaware I have any family and turns out the majority of the people who I do have are fucking evil.

DANTE: Well other then you of course.

DANTE: I'm just at home with the dog, not sure where Lila is though. I've been trying to get a hold of her but she's not good at answering her phone.

LAYLA: Just be glad it's only distantly related and you don't share the name

LAYLA: Glad I'm not part of the majority lol

REID: Out of lockdown. Where are you? You aren't in a situation like last time are you? I hope you're not hurt.

LAYLA: Out of lockdown too

LEN: Yeah, I'm downstairs in the shop with Jonah. He locked everything down. It seems to be holding good. We're all okay right now.

LEN: Are you somewhere safe?

LAYLA: Thank god, I'm glad it's secure

DANTE: So this is all pretty fucking crazy.

DANTE: What the actual fuck.

DANTE: Who hurt these people? Cause they seriously must have some issues if they think this is in good nature.

DANTE: Are you okay?

LAYLA: It's more like brainwashing

LAYLA: I think... that's what they tried to do to me anyway

“Should’ve known,” she muttered to herself, tossing aside the newspaper she’d just read. “Death Eaters are like cockroaches, aren’t they? Those fuckers never truly die,” Laurel complained. “So what are you going to do? Doomsday bunker your way out of this or prepare to get your duel on?” 

Meredith couldn’t remember a time when she had been this exhausted. to the fact that she had realized she wasn’t in her own bed, not even her own flat when she had fallen asleep. She suddenly woke with a jolt, heart beating hard in her chest as she looked around the cafe she was in and realizing she was getting some odd looks. Clearing her throat she tried to act natural and looked to the person not far from her, “I don’t suppose you noticed how long I was out for?”

“You’d be surprised.” Certainly family wise anyway. His parents were interested in when he was finally going to have children of his own and he didn’t know when that would happen for him, if ever. “I’m also not sure why my employers need to know my age particularly. It doesn’t affect how well I do my job.”

“I guess I could try that some time when things really pile up,” he nodded in response. “Thanks for the pointer honestly. We have so many people in each department for a reason after all.”

“That I am- why? Has he caused you some sort of heartbreak? Do I need to go kick his ass?” Maeve teased, smiling at the other as she explained who she was. “Ah, so you must be Len’s best friend then, I don’t believe we have met.” She commented, taking the others hand and shaking it. “It’s nice to meet you too, Layla. I’m Maeve.”

“Ah– thank you,” she replied, taking it and looking it over before furrowing a brow. “It doesn’t mention an exact date for when this needs to be sent out by. Should I assume ASAP then?”

“I won’t. You’ll always know where to find me.” Tommy smiled widely. “Great, what about tomorrow?”
