we had a back to school retreat today and i was in a round table discussion with four female coworkers between the ages of 20 and 70 and it was the most intellectually stimulating conversation iâve ever had at work. just a couple boomers, a couple millennials, and a gen zer (we had no gen x representation) talking about vocations and vulnerability and authenticity. iâve wanted to join a fiber arts group for years because i know i need more cross generational female perspectives but my local library-sanctioned group meets while iâm at work lol. i might try to go this week before school gets back in full swing, and if i like it, i wonât feel so crazy adjusting my schedule around it.
