Got some new charcoal and pencil brushes, so I wanted to test them out. And now I’m in love with their various textures.

💫Here’s the result of an experiment I’m calling paint chips: draw on a sample paint swatch. Of course, I had to use Job as the tester.

Another redraw of on older piece. Aside from visual techniques, I learned how to export drawing and what size/resolution to make the canvases for that Detail and Clarity. It’s always something.

If there’s anything I’ve learned from the #faceyourart challenge, it’s that I like sharp jawlines and square chins. Some of them looking like hexagons up there.
