In light of adding two complete works to my website, I would like to thank the collectors who are keeping my passions aflame. I have a few more pieces that are still in-process and I can hardly contain my excitement for them!

Good news, everybody! I have a new small room air filter, and with it comes oil painting lessons! Precautions such as providing your own air purifying mask and limits on types of solvents that are allowed have been put in place for safety reasons, but believe me the oil experience is worth the expense! I am very enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve the Twin Cities area with fine art lessons and I hope that the word will get out that the lessons are available. Please help by sharing the good news, and sign up soon! Class sizes are limited to three, so it'll be a nice comfy atmosphere to create a share your art. This lesson is open to all levels of experience, skill, and style; I've limited the number of students so that I can tailor my lessons to your needs.

I have had legging fever lately, and I thought what better way to show my appreciation than designing them myself? I'm thinking dark, rich colors. Classy, Artistic. Easily incorporated into your wardrobe in a way that still makes that statement, that punch, those gasps as you walk into a room. These are the leggings that I've always wanted, and I hope that you do too!

I'm thinking custom leggings... leggings that you make yourself. Leggings that when you get compliments on them, you say, "Thank you! I made them!" and people walk away thinking, 'WOW is that hot babe talented!" What I am asking you all is for ideas; what would you like to see on your legs? When my schizophrenic uncle gave me a self-wetting doll for my 15th Christmas I was more than thrilled.

“He may be a little disconnected from time and certain other things,” my mother had explained earlier. “He has a mental illness.”

“Thank you,” I said, now beaming up at his concerned face.

“It’s a little inappropriate now, you see you are much older than I remember,” He said.

“I love it,” I insisted, and to prove it I began taking the doll out of the box and toying with its accessories. His face twitched into a smile.

I wouldn’t let my mother toss the thing for months.

 Why is it that we are still neglecting people who have treatable diseases, shying away and shivering whenever we hear the word, “mental?” These people need love, understanding, and medical care.

 “Wow! That bill looks much better than earlier this year!” I overheard a woman saying happily to her companion as they left a local pharmacy.

“I switched medical plans. Thanks, Obama!” The companion laughed.

 I believe that people with mental health issues are just as high priority and in equal need of funding for treatment and research as any other person with a serious disability or illness. Due to this belief, I am starting a fund raising project. I will create low-cost (or perhaps in the future, name-your-own-price art) and links to donate even more to NAMI, an organization that helps benefit people with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, and all sorts of other diseases ranging from debilitating to disruptive to good old fashioned ignorance.
