Look at Earth

14 years of this. The interest of photography was just a thing that grew organically. It all started from my bus rides to the job in Treasure Island from The City. Spending countless days and hours of peering out the 108's windows while having the best seat in the house as the bus crossed the Bay Bridge. From foggy morning which blanketed the skyline to the city lights blaring while against the evening's backdrop. Amazing sunrises and unforgettable sunsets, being able see the city in different elements piqued my interest. I wanted to capture moments of life so I can have a time stamp to my life. To be able to hold on to a moment just alil longer rather than watching it go by on a bus ride to the job. I wanted to capture it all. What's really inside this city. Behind that concrete jungle I wanted to explore everything about the city. So I saved up my money, bought a Canon Rebel T2i. From there I honed in on everything. If it was "alive" it was infront of my camera. Carried it around every where. From there ideas of images were born, and executed. Met some dope got damn people through photography. Even got a lil buzz on IG. Nonetheless, fast forward to now. Even though photography has taken a backseat due to kids, life, school and work. I bring it out every chance I get and also utilizing my phone, I'm still able to create shit here and there to release my ideas. I say all that to say Happy got damn Bday to my Tumblr page.

what's good Matt. First off, I appreciate you even stopping by and looking at the work. Thank you! Second, I seriously appreciate the feedback! The thing with me is that any image I capture is important to me. Yes, i'm posting on a public platform but the images and the true meaning why I shot it the way I did is for me and me only you know? Im pretty sure if somebody looks at your work and can just see a flower or a wall or a shadow, but to you i know it's deeper than that. same with me. The shots you don't think that are "superb" enough is just your opinion which you are able to have. But every shot i take is a meaningful one to me. as far as "less is more." i think that applies to people that are trying to promote themselves as something or afraid on how their page or website or blog looks. as for me i'm just posting my life. what i see, how i process it. no right or wrong in my book. I guess cuz my style is more on the photojournalism side if i had to put a "style" to it. I just like telling stories through my images. whether it's 1-10. i love taking pics. Again. thank you tho. thank you for your thoughts, ideas and suggestions. seriously truly appreciate it.
