*  𝐈'𝐌  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝑴𝑨𝑰𝑵  𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑,  𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐑  𝑶𝑼𝑻  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌.

the  isle  of  tropea  is  a  location  straight  out  of  fairytales  children  oh  so  gladly  hear  before  bedtime,  however,  it’s  the  background  of  one  of  the  most  exclusive  universities  in  the  world.  it’s  tropical  setting  is  the  home  of  the  university  of  tropea,  often  shortened  to  𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐀  𝐔𝐍𝐈,  and  nothing  else  since  the  university  owns  the  whole  island.  their  small  airport  receives  hundreds  of  private  jets  dropping  of  new  international  students  to  start  their  academic  career  there,  some  even  arrive  by  private  yacht  at  poseidon’s  grotto.  and  the  rare  scholarship  student  that  manages  to  get  accepted  has  to  fork  out  quite  the  amount  of  money  to  arrive  at  their  destination  or  become  a  charity  case  for  one  of  their  richer  peers  and  catch  a  ride  with  them.

at  the  start  of  their  freshman  year,  students  get  handpicked  by  one  of  the  four  houses  to  become  a  member  of  them,  denying  is  no  option.  and  surprisingly  enough,  with  only  the  knowledge  of  their  application  &  their  behavior  at  the  big  welcoming  party,  the  house  heads  always  manage  to  pick  the  right  people  that  simply  belong  and  thrive  with  their  equals.  nonetheless,  the  houses  on  campus  are  feuding  against  one  another,  all  in  the  spirit  of  the  game  as  the  dean  would  say.  every  year,  tropeauni  organizes  a  tournament  where  the  houses  can  battle  and  gather  points  in  order  to  be  the  best  house  on  campus  and  get  the  honor  of  winning  the  prize.  who  wouldn't  want  to  be  in  charge  of  the  party  of  the  year  at  the  beginning  of  summer  ?  getting  the  opportunity  to  invite  people  from  all  over  the  world,  even  exclusive  vips,  and  picking  your  favorite  artists  to  perform.  tropea  university  doesn't  care  about  the  bill,  they'll  happily  fund  it  all.

only  this  year,  the  start  of  2021-2022  has  the  board  decided  to  spice  things  up.  in  order  to  get  more  funds,  publicity  &  attract  more  students,  the  contract  that  gets  signed  has  a  new  clause,  written  in  the  tiniest  letters  ’student  agrees  to  be  part  of  a  netflix  original  series  in  the  form  of  reality  television’.  and  even  these  wealthy  brats  can’t  get  out  of  it,  but  they’ll  have  realize  they’re  being  filmed  first.  who  knows  —  that  could  take  forever.  one  thing  is  certain,  it  will  be  the  most  scandalous  thing  on  the  internet  &  social  media  will  eat  it  right  up.  a  deal  with  the  devil  certainly  took  place.

this  is  a  semi-selective  discord  only  verse  that  focuses  on  the  life  of  privileged  students  at  tropea  university,  located  on  the  isle  of  tropea  in  the  mediterranean  sea.  unbeknownst  to  them,  cameras  will  follow  their  every  move  as  they  fight  for  the  prestigious  honor  of  'best  house’  and  the  opportunity  to  host  the  party  of  the  year.
