Every soft gurgle relieves some of the pressure in the pred's middle. Beneath their skin, there's an anxious whimper. the unwilling occupant knows--each sound brings them closer to their demise. They give one last spirited struggle, but once again, they're met with impossibly powerful muscles constricting them. The prey's arms and legs burn from the effort, and their skin burns from the fluid coating their body. Most embarrassingly though, their eyes sting with tears.
"Please," the prey finally rasps out. "Let me out!"
For a while, there's no response. There's nothing but the rumbling of the stomach around them.
Then, there's additional pressure, lightly pressing down and running over them from the outside. It didn't take a genius to figure out that the pred was massaging their own gut.
"Please... let me keep you."
Their voice was breathless and earnest. Being tucked into their stomach, the pred's voice resonated deep within the prey, tickling their chest and belly. The prey is in mortal danger they find themselves flushing at the earnest tone the pred used.
"N- No! I mean- not like this, at least! Please let me out, I- I'm willing to do anything, or- or- or negotiate, or something, I don't know! Fuck, please!"
The pred begins lightly drumming their fingers against their swollen, rounded out stomach. They're wearing a wicked grin while also attempting to pick something out of their teeth.
"Oh... are you trying to negotiate with me?"
The pred chuckles. Their stomach jiggles a little in response.
"Well... okay. I'll let you out on one condition," the pred purrs. Something in their voice is knowing.
"What's that?! I'll do anything!"
The pred's hand curls, grabbing a fistful of flesh.
"My one condition is that you keep it together."
"Keep it together?! How?"
"Are you telling me to be calm? Okay, I- I'm calm! You can let me out now!"
They're left with a sinking feeling that the pred had left them with that vague condition on purpose. Not only is the condition vague, it's also impossible. They can't just magically withstand digestion forever.
They make one last attempt.
They're cut off by stomach walls crashing down on them without warning, completely smothering them. They can't breathe, and all they can hear is the impossibly loud sound of gurgling-
Finally, they're released. When the pred's stomach relaxes, the prey takes a big gulp of air.
They don't need to ask anymore; they understand.
The pred's presented the prey with an impossible condition: to survive indefinitely within their stomach.
How much longer do they have left? Will the pred change their mind? How long can someone feasibly survive inside of someone else's stomach? What-
