La Archivera y lo pospuesto

A month ago a big metal bin full of rubbish appeared at the end of our street in Barcelona. It was mostly construction litter, and at the end of every day the workers emptied it and filled it during the work of the next day. Once my sister, my cousin and I were passing by and saw this boxes full of slides and pages of analogic film scattered all over the pile. We collected some of them and I digitalized them at home. These are from around 2001, and what it seems the sport harbor of Barcelona. I am pretty sure that the person that took these is dead, and I think they were pretty passioned and talented. 

I’ll be uploading all we could find, hoping that their eyes will guide us trough some past we can only get glimpses of.

Postal, recuerdo de Algeciras, encontrada junto a otros documentos en Cristobal de Moura, Poblenou. 

Tras mucho tiempo sin acceso a un escáner vuelvo a ponerme en marcha. Esta fe de bautismo la encontré en unas bolsas abiertas sobre la acera, junto a unos contenedores en Poblenou.

De los tesoros que he ido encontrado estos días de post-confinamiento, este es el que carga un mensaje más fuerte y claro. Imagino que por la elección y la preparación del soporte, el hecho de haberme encontrado este naipe tirado en el suelo me hace parte de una estrategia clara de comunicación artística. Al artista que la diseñara me gustaría hacerle saber que el mensaje llegó a (un) destino en la Plaça del Doctor Letamendi.
