So, very quick note before i start writing these out— Forenzik IS a character that was created by another person. I’m not going to stray far from how he was in the comic (like the two pages he was in but whatever) just because he’s a character created by someone other than snuff.

Forenzik

Forenzik is known through the city of gluttony as ‘ the doctor ‘. A scientist who dedicates most of his time putting in research and experimentation for objects, entities, and etc; that reside in the underworld. studying how science has merged with magic (referring to substances)

Forenzik is known for hiring ‘lower’ class workers. he doesn’t care about your resume. as long as you don’t fuck him over and that you’re able to get the job done? that’s good enough for him.

Forenzik has multiple affiliates. Two of those being Dr. Stein and Dr. Gerald Warren (who he works with quite often)

His lab resides in the middle of the human quarter of the city. Not the best place for business, but it is safer. It’s easier for him to manage safety regarding keeping his research and experiments in tact.

Hookman

hookman is of course.. the landlord! he owns TWO buildings. one being the apartment building, and the other being the connected laundromat.

he’s a business man. not incredibly intelligent but is able to keep tenants and meet requirements.

he’s very strict with his rules. especially with rent deadlines. however, he will be more lenient if either you’re a brand new tenant, or if you’ve paid off your rent normally but need just one or two extensions.

hookman isn’t ‘well known’ by any means. but his name isn’t nothing. the apartment building was in the middle of the city. just in that area surrounded by the tall skyscrapers and other apartment buildings.

Rufus Noctua / The Prophet

i am so excited to talk about this character you have no idea

so, in the beginning of my rewrite— it’s told that asmodeous has been assasinated. that a figure had rose; a symbol for humans. a reassurance.

for months, demons had been going missing, had been getting murdered , etc.

it scared them. how were demons being killed?? how did a SIN die? this self proclaimed ‘ Prophet ‘ had made their presence VERY known. starting an uprising. humans finally being able to take a stand. stick up to the big guys.

It spread like wildfire. demons all over had started facing extreme discrimination and harassment. targeting, murderer, theft— all of it. the underworld was in the middle of its biggest historical event.

the prophets targets made sense at first. asmodeous being the biggest threat. however over time.. it just gets worse. random demons being brutally beaten and tossed aside. pure bloodlust.

will wiped his mouth, the crimson stain of his blood spreading across his hand. he coughed, laying against the wall. he held his abdomen, the pain only getting worse. and yet.. the numbing only got stronger. he was really going to die. die like this. not going out with a bang as he had hoped. oh whatever. it was the underworld.

his fate was sealed as soon as he went down that well.

his breathing slower, and his chest rising.. and falling. the pattern of it shortening.

the next few minutes of his life were reminiscent. will had remembered the conversation he had with his neighbor— not even a month back.

“ hey— frank,” the blonde spoke, turning to the undead man who sat in the barstool just two seats next to him. the man groaned, rubbing his temples as he was clearly irritated.

“ what? jesus kid, ye’asking me shit every two seconds’” his boston accent running thick. it was obvious he was a bit tipsy— the both of them hadn’t had the best days.

“ do..hm-“ will frowned, furrowing his brows as he stared down at the ground in frustration.

“ just spit it out, will.” frankie rolled his eyes, taking another long sip of his scotch. the delicate liquor flooding his throat as he swallowed slowly. frankie was the type to savor his alcohol. enjoy its richness.

“ what does it mean to be human-?” will asked.

frankie paused. he blinked and shook his head,

“ wha- the fuck kinda question is that??” he spat, snapping his fingers to signal the bartender. the worker nodded, knowing what he wanted.

“ nevermind- sorry.” will sighed, taking a small sip of his vodka.

“ i just..,” he paused. “ do you really think being human down here is being weak? i mean— “

“ im gonna stop ya there, kid.” frank held up his hand, practically chugging the new glass of scotch he had just received.

“ being human don’t mean nuthin. not like i would know anyways. i don’t know why yer askin me this shit anyways— not like i would know.” he snarled in irritation.

will immediately tensed up. now he remembered why he didn’t like to hang out with frank… but before he could even open his mouth— he was interrupted.

“ but.. if ya want an answer this is what i got,” frank started, pulling out a cigar and lighting it.

“ being human doesnt mean being a burden— weak,”

will blinked.

“ ya see kid, the reason why humans are so special down here is because they ain’t got no limit. atleast not a physical one. sure i mean they can feel.. touch and see. senses are different for folk like me, yknow?” frankie shrugged.

“ wait— what do you mean by ‘no limit’ ?? .. we can die down here you know..?” the young blonde furrowed his brows. frankie immediately replied with aggression,

“jesus let me fuckin’ finish. god i forget how annoying you can be-“

will shut his mouth. he then nodded, signaling frankie that he was done.

“ i don’t mean ya got no limit when it comes ta’living. i mean the human spirit is so unbreakable. your limit is your soul. and most of the freaks down here aren’t anything more than an empty soul. no love, feelin.’ “ his voiced softened,

“ humans are different. unpredictable. scary— wonderful.” he muttered his words, shaking his head. he then went silent. waiting a few moments before speaking again,

“ that’s why he’s so afraid ta’ lose ya. he’s scared of what you can do.”

“who?”

“ who d’ya think?” the undead man cocked a brow, before the clown finally emerged from the bathroom and sat in the stool that stood in between the two.

wanna explore the idea of frank absolutely loathing hut loving humans because he misses the feeling of being alive so badly. also i just love writing for the guy.

• Out of all the sins (excluding Lucifer and Samael), Mammon is the most feared and the most powerful. running and controlling her city like some sort of tycoon. what makes the city of gluttony and greed different is that the classism is much more prevalent. There’s the SLUMS, and then the rich. While Gluttony does have both, the city of Greed is much more divided. ‘The Slums’ mostly containing those who are human or were human. So corrupted people, spirits, etc.

• The rich consists of demon kind.

• Mammon is feared— by nearly everyone. Her lack of empathy and compassion makes it much easier for her to flick people off— as if they were bugs on her coat.

• Mammon has the largest empire out of all the sins, and is the most wealthy. She and Beezlebub have a close “work” relationship. There businesses interconnected. He provides the workers and weapons, and she provides the funding.

• Posters, Buildboards, Ads, and ETC— of Mammon are slapped all around the city of Greed, along with Gluttony. Shoving her presence and wealth down the throats of those less fortunate.

• Mammon is practically a famous figure. While also being a political one, she is praised for her creative work and contributions. She is also a fashion designer, and sells her work in almost every clothing store down the line. They are incredibly expensive and hard to find. The duplicate versions of these clothes (aka the fast fashion/forced labor) are sold in smaller and less wealthy areas. Both types of clothing and brands are owned by her. If the poor can’t afford her luxury, why should she make it accessible to them? She can just give them a shittier version of the clothes and sell it to them at a price they can afford. Cash flow in every aspect.

• While being the embodiment of Greed just in a business and corporate standpoint— Mammon is also incredibly self involved and narcissistic. Everyone WILL know her. Everyone’s opinions, talking, and etc of her only fuels Mammons ego more.

• Speaking of— the sins. The sins are seen as political figures in the underworld because they are the rulers.

• As of current day, only three of the sins actually work publicly and are actively continuing to promote their party. those three being Beezlebub (Gluttony), Mammon (Greed), and Asmodeus (Lust.)

• Leviathan (Envy) and Belphegor (Sloth), are both just in hiding. Well? Not necessarily’ hiding ‘. They just don’t involve themselves in the political climate of the underworld.

• Lucifer (Pride) is actually in hiding. He resides in the most lush and beautiful part of the underworld. The area meant for the wealthy, the entertainment, and the higher ups. He hasn’t been seen in decades.

•The city of Gluttony is the most populated and the most polluted. While the city of Sloth is the poorest, it is still small enough to where its pollution is not as bad.

• The ‘crime rate’ in Gluttony is far above any of the others. It’s mostly home to ‘man’. Human spirits, Corrupted People turned into monsters.. Basically any individual who had been human at one point or IS human. This is why it is the most inclusive city + the home to the institution.

• You may be wondering about Slenderman and his brothers. And they are still widely important. They are also ‘political’ figures. But their influence is not even comparable to the sins. He owns the institution.

•As of the present time, the underworld is undergoing its biggest revolution/political downfall ever. The technology, weaponry, and of course magic has gotten much more advanced and is now being used to target those who were deemed invulnerable.

•Inhuman Demons (Zalgoids, Hellspawn, Etc) are being killed off. Dropped like flies.

•A figure had rose , self proclaiming themselves as the exterminator. A Prophet who has come to protect mankind and rid the underworld of its hellspawn.

•This is an obvious issue for several reasons. The public is losing their minds. The ‘people’ are being divided and targeted.

•Beezlebub and Mammon are the only two who have made advancements in trying to stop whoever this person had been.

•Weaponry had become advanced enough to kill those who could never die. And it terrified them.

•Anyways that aside, here’s just some more general headcanons.

•The underworlds population is very similar to that of the earth dimension. there are millions of people, souls, monsters, etc. However since death is MUCH more normalized. The population of the underworld could go from 8mil to 7.6 mil in one night. However the next day it would go back up. considering the amount of souls that join the realm every day.

• in the underworld, humans are VERY vulnerable. which is why, decades ago, Lucifer instated Laws and Rights to protect humans in specific.

•Crime in the underworld is interesting as well. Petty crimes such as robbery, DV, and even sometimes murder goes unpunished because it’s.. well.. the underworld. However, you can still be arrested, detained, judged, and even executed for crimes.

•Crime against the government is an immediate no no. If you fight them, you WILL be caught and more than likely executed.

•Crime that infringes and goes against any of man’s right (this includes death upon inflicted magic, hate crimes, and etc,) are punishable by sentence time.

•The underworld does also have police/authority. and obviously crime committed against the authority will get you detained and sentenced. It’s basically the same as the police in the earth dimension.

•Children are in the underworld. The dimension parallels earth, of course. But schools and education centers are not government funded and are rare. Education (for children-teenagers) is mostly done at home.

•Sex work is MUCH more common and legalized. Hookers will be on every street corner. (but that also depends where you are. the city of ‘lights’ aka lucifer’s city, was ridded of sex workers.

•most drugs are also legalized. well? most drugs that are known in the earth realm. so substances such as heroin, cocaine, marijuana, meth, fentanyl, and etc.. is all legal. you can go pick it up in a smoke shop somewhere.

•HOWEVER, since the underworld is technically more advanced, they have even stronger substances that are banned. if you are caught dealing or consuming these— you will be charged and sentenced.
