Afterwards, Stan should be getting ready for his own match, but he interrupts his preparations to go to Benoit's side. 

Notes: So this is, as you might guess, a cathartic piece written in the immediate aftermath of Benoit's loss to Kei. But you don't need to know the details of that loss to understand this fic. Except that Benoit got docked a point on set point in the second set due to a coaching violation (he'd already got a code warning for racquet abuse, that was why a point was taken). He wasn't happy about it - or about the rest of the match, really. Disclaimer: This is fiction and the characters in it are fictional.

So this fic kind of grew and developed a mind of its own. It was initially supposed to be a cute little vignette focusing on Stan's win over Andy, and then, well, it grew into something massive and shaggy and took nearly a month to write. Oops. Hopefully it's still a tiny bit charming, because goodness knows the boys continue to be. ;)

As always, imagine this fic to be a translation of what's actually happening (as that would be in French). :)

Rating: Mature Summary: Five times Benoit told Stan to stop thinking, and one time Stan had an answer. (Or maybe twelve times, or sixteen. Oops.) Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Nothing is implied about the actual Stan or Benoit or any of the minor characters.

This is an AU snippet from the Stan/Benoit universe of on that you can rely and becoming stanley. It should be able to be read on its own, but if you want the Stan/Benoit background, those fics will help (there's also a mini Stan/Benoit ship manifesto in the comments of the former).

Set some distance in the future - it takes as its beginning the idea of Rafa and Benoit becoming friends in the upcoming Barcelona tournament, but I'm thinking this is some time after that, when nobody's injured and Benoit and Stan aren't as newly-together.

He's pretty sure it 's Benoit and Rafa's fault, though. Disclaimer: None of this is true, and nothing is implied about the lives of the actual Stan, Benoit, Roger, and Rafa.

So this fic started out as "why Stan didn't use to like cuddling but now he does", and then had to get completely rewritten. It also would have been up earlier except Stan's actualfax matches distracted me, including his amazing and triumphant win over Andy Murray (which promptly made me want to write all the celebratory Stan/Benoit PWP in the world, so expect to see that fic up soon too, haha).

This fic is set in the same universe as on that you can rely, and I'll probably get around to combining them into a proper series at some point (most likely when the celebratory sex fic is done), but it should also be able to stand alone. For background info on Stan and Benoit, though, and the beginnings of a shipping manifesto, see that fic.

I have returned! I've been horribly blocked for a while, but like so often happens, a new fandom helped me out. :) Don't worry, I'm going to try to write more HIMYM and Neil/David soon too. In the meantime, here's a bit of tennis RPF. :)

I just started watching Psych. It's hilarious so far. I adore the living daylights out of Detective Lassiter (pictured). He makes exasperation so sexy. :D (And pulls off a Civil War reenactor uniform pretty damn well.)
